  • Also, Don't try to BBS punch the wolf. They made that super so much slower now D=, he has time to get away. I usually try to fish for CH5B into 2C, etc. etc. B/c of the buffs to 5B , much easier to do now.

    oh jeez yeah, i noticed right away how much more free time the opponent had to move in BBS, lol.

    tbh i dont know the true application of a lot of what youre saying, but i can visualize and understand it, i only started this game a couple months ago and barely had any time to play since college was still going on. i have a lot to learn about the game mechanics and how to best utilize them still. xD

  • @BlubbaPinecone in the other post, my example was, valk, will usually do a block string into the special attack that moves him forward hits low and then can wolf dash cancel it before the second hit. 2A that into a combo. They limited his wolf dashing some in this ver. so it's a little easier to jab him out of stuff.

  • @BlubbaPinecone I dont play online much, close to none. It feels to bad too laggy for me. Been playing seriously for about 6 months now. Usually just lurk the dustloop threads lol. Practice alot with my valk. friend. He made top 16 in blaz at Final round =o lol.

    oh i see, lol. yeah i kinda hate online too, but i usually dont have a choice since i live in the middle of nowhere. x_x

    there's a jin player in my town who got into bracket at evo before, don't know exactly how well he did... i like playing with him but we dont get to very often lol. i can keep up or one step ahead of him most of the time but my main issue is just plain pressing buttons... i'm still completely new to traditional 2d fighters lol.

  • Cs2: Tail will still lose to valk's 2c, B/c of makoto's 3C hitbox change, try not to use that move much, Valks 5C can hit her out of it easily now. If Valk tries to be cute and do something like, (block string ~236B wolf dash cancel mix up) just 2A him into 6A, 2D etc. etc. or just do standard air combo. They changed it so that valk can't wolf dash cancel straight into wolf j.b, which is great. I played this matchup for 5 months straight lol. still playing it

  • Poor order on your combos...oh wait this is CS1 LOL. My only advice to you is try not to lose against Valk...in CS2 you can practically 2A everything, you do need to watch for 7D though. use a Parry or a 5C to punish that garbage(:

  • Things to note in this matchup, Makoto's J.2c will 90% of the time lose to valk's 2c, or trade in his favor leading into a big combo for him. If you BBS, he can super right through it, He's invincible till the initial first hit of the attack. Instant blocking the tackle is important, If valk being aggressive with wolf dash cancel j.c punish that shit with parry, particle flare combo. If valk is in wolf form walking around, just BBS him.
