  • Does this count as a villain song?

  • @MichaelSar12IsBack In my opinion YES because the owner of the shot is the villain who dismember appliances for parts. The lamp and everyone else is telling their visitor's how he is and what he do! Plus, some of the lyrics and the organ make it creepy.

  • That hanging lamp with the chapped lips and wacky eyes creeps me out, I would hate to wake up with that thing swinging over me, but I like the fan for some reason. This reminds me of Watership Down, maybe because both movies were cartoons but still really creepy and probably not originally written for kids. I don't think that this was designed to be a movie for really little kids, it also probably has some hidden meaning, like what really happens when you're abandoned or forgotten.

  • I thought the lyrics were "this is strange," not "yes, they're strange." Also, he might be saying "house of wacks," though you can't really tell.

  • 0:26 to get to the song

  • I love the fact that it was a stove that sang the line "it ain't home on the RANGE," even though I'm honestly not sure if the pun was intended. :)

  • 0:43 hahahhaha boobs

  • This movie was scary as fuk wen I was a kid an now I watch it again and it looks like kids shouldn't even watch it that lamp looks like he's on drugs

  • Sounds like something from Castlevania...

  • @RandomnessHour

    Sorry about your username.

  • @Randomness

    Thurl Ravencroft.

  • Who plays the voice of Kirby?

  • ....Dude, that was kick ass. Just as good as the other song, Worthless

  • Though I never thought the songs in the movie were anything fantastic, but there's really something compelling about them. There's really nothing like them.

2:17 THIS IS WEIRD?!!! That's ALL you have to say about this, Kirby?! Weird is when your keys aren't on the table where you thought you left them; THIS is on par with the pink elephants from Dumbo! (enjoyable, but REALLY messed up)

  • If only they couldn't gotten the real peter lorre to sing this song.

  • I have to say, the film is quite dark for kids, but it's also very underrated.

  • "Shivers up my spine," 8( the original lyrics were Shivers Down my spine... why they go and change things?

  • When it comes to feeling empathy towards objects and appliances, this makes Toy Story look like commercial.

  • You know, it's funny: In the movie version, you hear Toaster a lot more clearer than Lampy.

  • @michaelsar12 I think it sounds better with Lampy tho... :)

  • i wish someone made a refrain in metal version

  • LOL! House of wax! lol wonder what those two would make if they combine?

  • During the harmony part (There goes the sun part), you can barely hear Toaster. But in the movie, you can hear him clearly. The soundtrack version is very different

  • The lamp in this scene was voiced by the late-great Phil Hartman. So was the air conditioner in the cabin.

  • @shparks I'm pretty sure another comedian voiced lampy, but phil hartman was the air conditioner, and he did a damn good job too. what a frightening scene.

  • @1bassley Timothy Stack plays Lampy. Phil Hartman plays the hanging lamp in the B-Movie scene.

  • @shparks ooooooooh THAT lamp

  • Also: It's really weird how they made this version. The background is amplified a lot and some parts of the singing are much louder than others. Radio's voice is almost shockingly so.

  • Could you upload it without the dialogue in the beginning? :D Pretty please?

  • The fan kinda creeps me out.

  • I never noticed the Radio's VA has the best singing voice

  • @loganator01 Did you notice that Radio sounds like President Franklin Roosevelt? Man his voice is almost exactly like FDR. Just listen to some old video clips of him

  • I love the voices in this song.

  • happy halloween guys :D

  • As I kid I didn't like this scene until this year when I remembered this scene.

  • I don't think this is a Soundtrack version, I think you got this from the movie, but without the talking, starting from 2:05.

  • Just to point out some things no one cares about:

1:11 Loudspeaker thing in the backround

1:14 The area that apears laterin the song is also in the backround

1:42 kirby is in the backround

2:20 Radio's voice is in thewrong speaker. Switch them.

2:34 to 2:45 You hear Lampy's voice in the right speaker While the others are the left speaker

2:46 One of the wires go over toasters eyes. ow.

3:11 Pencil sharpener does somthing with his pencil

Just some random stuff to point out. bye.

  • @LAVENDERACGIRL Odd, I wonder if their voices being in different speakers was from the song being ripped to mp3 or if it was intentional, good ear.

  • @Ryoku75 Thanks. I do not know either. One thing to consider is the rest of the songs on the movie. Note that Lampy can,t be heard on 2:34 the actual movie version.

  • @LAVENDERACGIRL Hm, something tells me they forgot to add Stacks bit in the film so they added it later to the soundtrack.

  • @LAVENDERACGIRL Also, during the "Somebody turn on the light!" Line, Lampy's bulb is on, but it isn't casting any light, even when the others drag them, away form the window.

  • this scene scared the hell out of me as a kid, but i always loved the song even tho i was terrified lol

  • The fan is by far the scariest. Look into that fuckers eyes, I swear it's fucking the fan of satan. I'm bloody 18 and that bastard still gives me the creeps...

  • @cyanide0 LOL Totally.

  • @cyanide0 The *fan*, or the hanging lamp?

  • @yeahwhamyeah B-Movies are movies that aren't blockbuster hits, pretty much. Like... You won't find them with big-name actors or whatnot.

  • That ceiling lamp gave me nightmares when I was a kid...

  • 2:34-2:46

the harmonizing of that part is really good, It just sticks to your head.

  • @AllOutGamer5 OKAY GOOD NOT JUST ME THINKING IT.

FFF this song is stupidly catchy.

  • 2:07-2:14 if the soundtrack version doesnt have that piece of audio then it this version isnt worth listening to

  • i think this is the best song by far. i'm actually trying to learn to sing it. i love it so much!

  • That fan is really cool at the end.

  • @yeahwhamyeah B-movies are cheap 50's horror movies.

  • Please tell me I'm not the only one who was horrified at this when I was little.

  • Great song, but I liked Worthless better. The other two songs aren't that good.

  • I actually talked to the guy who wrote this song, Van Dyke Parks, he seems like a nice guy.

  • @film017forever

Did you ask him how he got the job as songwriter on this film?

  • Thanks for the soundtrack, this is by far my favorite movie ever!

  • This and Worthless are my favorites.

  • 25... and still like it.

  • Whoa! The soundtrack version is a lot creepier than the movie version! Listening to this version makes me feel like I've rediscovered the song all over again as though the movie version were watered down. Did that make any sense? XD

  • @BeachballSU Same here. I'm now a bit disappointed that the next time I go and watch the movie, this song won't be as cool as it is here.

  • as long as you saw it as a kid, it never gets old.

  • I'm 15 and I still like the brave little toaster. it was one of my favorite movies when i was a kid.

    -Lily

  • ... 19 and still like it ...

  • 36 and still like it.

  • same !! its cool =D i still find the end sad =[ lol

  • when I grow up the fan and I are getting married

  • @coraclebirdboat HAHAHAHAH....you'll have to fight me for it! XD

  • The harmony starting at "There goes the sun, here comes the night" is amazing and to be honest, never fails to tug at my heartstrings a little, for whatever reason.

It sounds like everybody's got their own individual part, too, save for Blanky and Toaster sharing the melody. ;w; Speaker-wise it seems like Toaster, Kirby and Lampy are on the left and Blanky and Radio on the right.

That aside, this is still one badass song. The parts shop was always my favorite part of the movie.

  • This. That is the best part of the entire film, IMO. The harmony is SO GOOD.

  • The fan always scared me the most as a kid

  • lol, that's probably because some of them are broken

i mean look at the t.v

    his 'teeth' is broken glass

    eerie or what

  • It sounds like Peter Lorre

  • One of the best Disney Soundtracks, period.

  • agreed

the little toaster is the only diney film with songs worth putting on a music player

  • i remember this movie i used to love it so much :3

  • Can you get more The Brave Little Toaster - (Soundtrack Version) (With Lyrics)

  • YOU HEAR THAT BOYS?!

THEY VANT TO KNOW HOW TO ESCAPE!

    5 stars friend

  • This song sould rock at Halloween Parties.

  • Seconded!

  • yea, espically if it one where your watching halloween 'B-movies' at the end

  • @metalflygon08 Hell yes!

  • @metalflygon08 why do you think i looked it up? XD

  • You can really hear the organ! 5/5!

  • 2:34-2:46 i cant hear toaster orradio. is it just me ro do thay not sing in that part?

  • Radio's vocie blends in with lampy and Toaster's is so light you can't really hear it.

  • Toaster's voice isn't very overpowering, strong voice in a solo song, but even Blankie is louder in a group.

In the film version you can hear toaster, just have to focus.

  • What were they smoking?

  • what? i dont get what your saying.

  • Naw, it just isn't right without Mish-Mash's speaking part.

  • personally i disgaree

Mish-Mash is the only character who doesn't sing in this song thus making it more of a song (excluding the lamp in the inrto)

  • Yes! This just great, thank you so much. I always knew there was a soundtrack version out there (I just could never find it!) !

  • ok but how is it wrong?

  • lolwat, stop fapping over plugs

  • *fapfapfapfap*

  • 0:37 suicide

  • AAAH that lamp is freaky...seriously look at the lips...0.o

    SO FREAKY!!

  • No kidding! I remember watching this when I was little, and so many things from it scared me. That lamp was one of them. Just the way it looked, or something. It really freaked me out. I couldn't watch this movie very much. It's easier now, of course. Haha.

  • damn you can REALLY hear the organ and all the voices in the soundtrack version

  • Hell yeah, frigging sweet

  • I'm trying to find this song off of Frostwire.

  • I have it on mp3

  • Yes! This is awesome!
