i did learn some muay thai but its different with silat. Muay Thai is best use for street fighting but silat is best use for war fighthing. Many of the movement is deadly although it seems slow at the begining. It is a damn killing art.

Pencak silat is originally from indonesia, while seni silat is came from malaysia,..

@demarda yup... but it is just the umbrella term for silat styles in both country today...
Silat (the original) is from Indonesia... Indonesia has the oldest silat styles, and a lot more silat schools than any other silat countries.
