Ok. Everyone, I have been in the special effects and video/theater business for several years. This is the answer of who VAL really is. Val is a collection of voices (mainly female) but some even male that are mixed together and mixed with a computer. The "treatments" are all prerecorded. As you are well aware, the time it takes to film everything and for VAL to respond to everything takes about 8 times longer than it does to show it all happening instantaneously on TV. So there you go.
