Interesting parallel here. The police can't do their jobs in a timely manner, but they continuously assault our rights to protect ourselves. It's like the Obama administration trying to punish states for protecting themselves from illegal immigrants.
90 minutes? i could see if this was Reno 911...but real life? WOW....we citizens need to think about where we are putting our trust for safety...seriously...
@RamoneTalarico There have been cases where the police didn't show up for more than a day-and-a-half, and in one such situation the victims were kept captive and BRUTALLY TORTURED (and eventually KILLED) in their own fuckin' house for cryin' out loud!
It was after that incident in particular that it was found by the Supreme Court that the police have NO obligation to protect individuals - just the "community".
@Excedrine damn, horrendous. I would also like to read when and exactly where the supreme court said that can you help me find it? I would like to share that with a few people.

@RamoneTalarico Check out Warren v. District of Columbia - this isn't a Supreme Court, but it is a sickening example.

@RamoneTalarico Also, at 6:35 in this video the case of Castle Rock v. Gonzales, 545 U.S. 748 (2005) is mentioned - that is another good read.
