As with all your intros....bloody great!! too slow??? helped me alot..some of the "helpful" videos on here are way too fast...Thanks for your help with all your videos..n keep up the fantastic work
too much reverb and too distorted, but that's just my taste, and i'm a die hard ac/dc fan, so that probly adds to it, but it sound kinda like the 92 live album , just needs a little more twang .
can you tell me why whenever i see someone play this song they go from 2nd fret on the A to 4th on the E, 2nd A to 5th on the E and they continue to play it that way when they can use the 7th fret of the E instead
@crscdn it's also all personal preference.. like in crazy train intro, you can play the A open or on the 5th fret of the E string...randy played the 5th fret and if you have no idea what im talking a bout watch a video and you'll see
woah really good but next time turn your distortion down, I know that to get a sound close to Angus' you need to have distortion but I think if you turn it down a little bit it would sound better.
In my oppinion, the first a-chord has a Cis on the a-string and the 2. a-chord
is with a in the bass.

turn distortion a lot of down, play it without reverb, and with the bridge pickup.
sounds horrible like that
laricxx 2 years ago
Ac/Dc uses no distortion at all. They turn the volume to 10, and turn contour to 10 as well and thats pretty much it to there tone :)
i8myhomework 2 years ago
false.
they used always the drive channel, with a low gain and high middle.

It just sounds better that way as the notes are played on separate strings, plus it makes the slide down easier. Angus does play it this way too...

Get rid of the echo.
Wind down the gain to 3.
And it will sound perfect!
