Josh is a Disgrace to MMA & nothing but a cheater, i used to look up to the guy at 1 point , he was 1 of the fighters who showed the world that muscles mean nothing when it comes to fighting,he was much flabbier back then,& then he hits the roids & gets muscles all of a sudden, i just want to no what 4,he was a good fighter back then,i hope he fails & Fedor knocks him da F*** out, guy is just a cheat & worthless..u suck Barnett, Couture is a real champ & does not resort to roids

Seriously, to think that a lot of fighters are not one some sort of performance enhancement drug is pretty ridiculous (Overeem, Mir). Josh's big sin is he got busted and now he will always be under extra scrutiny.

When I say "horrible" I mean he was a fluffy fish who rarely won matches. We had 101 pound seniors who used to whip up on him. Same thing in football. I'm just saying he blossomed. It was quite funny. I didnt keep in contact with the guy and 8 years later I was in tx. and a guy had his pic. on his wall.. and I was FLOORED. i've since reconnected. He's a great guy, you would just have never thought from how athletic he was as a freshman what he would have become.

hey why is it that people dont use catch wrestling in mma now? and if they do its rare, i live in england and want to learn it for mma (not a fan of jui jitsu) and i train mma obviously, but would love to learn catch ( what is catch exactly anyway, is it just the subbmisions or is ith the throws aswel, german suplexes and all that? please get back to me, thanks tommy

"catch" wrestling is basically pro wrestling man but NOT scripted.....

Josh is teaching it and is also fighting on scripted pro wrestling matches in Japan.

BTW Pro wrestling in french is called "catch" as well.....So to me it's the whole pro wrestling backage but in Barnett's MMA game, it's the submission and wrestling ground game mainly.....It's not like you could do Piledriver in MMA You know !

i was on the HS wrestling team with Josh! He's a class act. You never have believed how horrible he was as a freshman. mind you. He weighed like 270 and was 6 foot 3 as a freshman.

I think Josh Barnett is THE BIGGEST threat to Fedor. Not Randy Couture, NOT Brock Lesnar not even Arlovski. I heard Fedor's manager didn't want Josh Barnett, so they picked Arlovski because they know Barnett is a monster who has the best chance of beating Fedor at this point. WAR BARNETT brother. He's got an awesome personality too. Nice humble guy, who can whoop ass.

I'm pissed at all those Fedor Nuthuggers who are claiming "Barnett is ducking Fedor all the time !"

Fedor is a beast but Josh is terrific, I've watched back his first fight with Big Nog and He Verbally Submitted him when the ring saved Nog's ass !

well after he was accused by the NSAC he took a independant test administered by an olympic standard doctor and tested negative thats why he left the ufc Because he was not given a second test by the NSAC athletic commisions cannot handle the fact that they may have made a gross mistake

This guys advertising camp need to get it together a bit better than they have. Ive been watching over a lot of his fights and he's been in there with the best and won. I can't understand why he hasn't come into contention for the heavyweight title again since he snatched it from Couture. (That was a decisive win too)

Yea well he was caught for steroids after he beat couture, stripped of his title and essentially left the UFC becuase of it. (Let me say though that I am a HUGE fan of josh's).

He has a pretty bad relationship with Dana White so i highly doubt we will ever see josh in the UFC again.

He likes fighting in Japan the most too since he does professional wrestling in Japan and teaches at AACC sometimes.

josh doesnt like the rules of the ufc either he believes a fighter should be allowed to wear shoes and gi's its a shame though i would have loved to have seen josh in the ufc the heavyweight division is lacking imo
