It's still relevant because when the actors are together on screen, there is chemistry there. Whether you choose to interpret that as romantic chemistry is a different story. Personally, I think it works, but to each his own.

Straight, gay, bi- none of them would surprise me... and none of them would matter. I like what he does with Sylar- though that's the only role I've seen him play. To me... if I like a character- nothing else matters, the actor/actress has done their job well, and I'll respect them for that.
