When I grew up I wanted to do all the things that the top comment mentioned like save china with mulan or ride a magic carpet with aladdin. I am older now, of course, but I still watch disney movies and believe it or not I wanted to become a frog with Tiana, I wanted to have 70 feet long hair like Rapunzel, I wanted to go to the future with the Robinson's. So in my way of thinking Disney movies are still the same as beautiful and enchanted as they were, Disney channel is what has changed

If you mean by quality, we've still got some decent ones like 'Tangled', 'Princess and the Frog', and that recent Winnie the Pooh movie. But financially, I'd say they're doing fine. If it's not an overdramatic Pixar movie, it's a shitty sequel (and hey, sometimes those combine) or a badly-written live-action family film. And Disneyworld/Disneyland? Enough said.

They're not gone. Far from it. They're the masters of advertising and bringing in money.

It is just bogged down by people who are stuck in the past and decide not to enjoy what is new and just as touching. Besides if you only want to watch 8 movies all your life go ahead. Of course the animation is off here, the sequels were usually done by Disney's TV animation studio rather than the actual animators. You ain't gonna get the animated quality of Glen Keane when you outsource the stuff to Korea.

We never really learned his name, right? People just call him Adam because that was the first name that popped up and it stuck? And btw, I hate how Disney half asses (excuse the language, but that's the only word I could think of the moment that gives enough emphasis on my point) the sequels to classic movies. Beauty and the Beast was one of my favorite movies, but I really hate how the sequal quality of the characters the movie itself is so bad compared to the original...just my opinion :(

I have a few issues with this:

1. The plot seems off kilter, especially when compared to the original film.

2. The 'touching' moment at the end? Yeah....while I love that Adam gave Belle a rose, wtf was up with them hugging each other around the waist? O.e; They're in love! He should've enfolded her in his arms, at the very least. A kiss might have been pushing it, since they don't want to mimic the original too much, but come on.

3. Animation.....ugh. Straight to video or not...it hurts.
