I used to work for Crimson Travel in the Natick Mall and Rex and Sgt. Billy came into the mall to promote their Disney Land trip and also to sign autographs. Such nice guys!
Rex Trailer, now retired and teaching at Emerson College in Boston was a children's program host on WBZ-TV 4 in Boston. He hosted a program called Boomtown which was popular with the children from the 1950's into the late 1970's or 1980's. Sgt Billy was his sidekick, after his first sidekick known as Pablo died of cancer in the mid 1960's. Trailer was also a recording artist. Look up Rex Trailer "boomtown" in google or wikipedia. He hosted a trip to California annually.
