  • Great results, but your hair is not a 4 at all. its 3b-3c

  • @makinio I think it's 3c/4a.....mine is 3c, and mu curls are bigger than hers...Mel B/Rachel True type

  • 4a ? no way !

  • @anita4168

lol haha yeah I'd say 3b or 3c

  • Your hair turned out cute, and the pup is adorable!

  • It looked just about the same before and after the takedown. Maybe you should've stretched them.

  • What kind of dog is that it's adorable!!!

  • Oh my gosh you are finally the first person with my hair type!!! I cant wait until my hair gets your length!!

  • very cute very cute!!!

  • just saying cause when people with 3c 4a hair look at ure video thinkin why doesnt my hair look like that then..u no if ure going to put ure type of hair in the title it needs to be the right one ure hair is much pettyer than what you think it is.. its sooo beautiful!!

  • i think your hair is more 3b with a little 3c in it no way is it 4a cause my hair is more 3c with a little 3b in it so looking at ures i can tell straight away what ures is

  • That person with the dog ruined the video.

  • Who was the idiot that kept putting the dog in the way. I mean really!!!

  • And I have the same dog!! His name is champ!! So lovable aren't they

  • My hair is just Ike yours- so looks like I could be a 3 c -- cute !!I have always had trouble accepting my curls and wanted straight hair --- perm damaged it so I have been natural for 4 years now --- ....

  • I'm gonna try this again... It just straightened my hair last time... but I did not put any moose or anything in it...

  • Thanks Lexi! Because of your video I will be doing more flat twists instead of individual twists from now on. This method is so much faster to do when compared to individual twists and the results are similar if not better.

  • I did not know how to flat twist. I love this

  • Love the little doggie! She stool the show!

  • Probably a silly question but couldn't you have achieved the same result by just doing regular twists all over your hair? Nice nail polish btw!

  • yyeeess! I am doing this on my hair this weekend.

  • aRE YOU MIXED?

  • what is 3c 4a? what does that mean?

  • @gAwjus25 its HER HAIR TYPE... hair types are like this 1=strait 2=wavy textures 3's= curly textures 4=kinky textures........ when it says a b c after the number it just means the the looser or tighter the hair pattern for example 3a means loose curls where as 3b is a tighter curl and so on and so forth

  • @MissWatkis ok so what about hair that has waves curls and frizz? my hair has all three what would i be then?

  • @mjjcng8958 you hair doesn't need to be a specific one. most hair isn't a specific one, especially ethnic hair. we usually have a multitude of hair types on our head

  • @MissWatkis thanks? i have learned so much now from watching you tube videos and doing research. my hair has all three frizz curls and waves. i cant seem to find my self on those hair charts. maybe i just dont know how to read them.

  • @mjjcng8958 hun, as far as hair type are concerned. you don't need to worry about it to grow and take care of your hair, some people don't even believe in them because they cant accurately describe black hair to some people. besides what is it that you hope to gain in knowing your hair type. if it to take care of your hair you dont need it necessarily

  • @MissWatkis i agree with you! but it s more curiousity then a "oh i need to know" thing. but like you said they really arent that good.

  • @mjjcng8958 look up the 4 a's b's and c's... then the 3b's and c's on you tube and see what mix you have

  • @MissWatkis haha thanks you are a greater help

  • @mjjcng8958 your welcome hun

  • so is your hair still wet or damp

  • so is your hair still wet or damp

  • Thanks, I subbed!

  • I love those guest appearances by your dog. lol

  • I'm sorry! but you have some tiggo bitties! real pretty!

  • THANK YOU!!!! i just did my first f/t a few mins ago. not hard to do either...

    new transitioner

  • These are crazy neat. How long does it take you to do your entire head?

  • thats so cute. personally if i had your hair i would do a side part. i think it looks better.

  • omg, your so pretty!!

  • why was the dog all up in the video???

  • im not black and i like the hairstyles you guys have....i have one question my hair is naturally straight, so i tried this one night and when im all the way past my scalp the twit undo...what can i use so they can stay???

  • @jlo012218 i think rubber bands will keep them from untwisting.

  • @jlo012218 -you can try putting a small rubber band on it, it shld stay in place then

  • do u have a layered cut in order to get the fuller shape?

  • is the curly pudding 4 straighter hair or dah curly meringue?

  • @stArridarling Both Curly Pudding and Curly Meringue are for all curl types. The only difference between the two is the hold. Both add shine and elongation, but Curly Meringue has a stronger hold. Hope this helps.

  • adorable yorkie . and hair too ..

  • well i like the song im a fan of amerie

  • i love amerie, nice pick. im glad u got the camara up close so we can really see the finger action. beautiful hair by the way.

  • THATS GOOD GIRL

  • lol, i think bentley wants his hair in a flat twist out!! good job on ur hair by the way.

  • gorgeous!

  • do yu have curly hair to have it come out wavy we you take them out ??

  • This is now my favorite video. Love ur hair. But love Bentley more!!! OMG! Too precious!! And funny the way he (or she) keeps floating into the shot. I love it!!!

  • don' like the music, so will be leaving!!

  • @queeny107 Video wasn't even about the music. U could've muted it. SLOWWW

  • @KTBEverlasting I know the video was not about the music, but the music was off putting. Do read before the box. 'All Comments' which I gave mine. if I receive any more of your reply I will have Youtube remove you for good from this website all together!!

  • @queeny107 Remove me for what? Repsonding to you? I'm not these trolls. Try to remove because I'm not being hostile to you. And I've been on here longing than you and have been making videos which is what YouTUbe is mostly for.

  • @KTBEverlasting There’s been some misunderstanding ‘I Apologize’

  • @queeny107 Apology accepted. Sorry for calling you slow.

  • @KTBEverlasting i think the music was for entertainment since she didnt want to talk the entire video. would you have rather watched the entire video in silence? that would have been boring as hell

  • @ebqueen1 I was talking to queeny107 who was complaining about the music. She could've just muted it instead of being rude.

  • @KTBEverlasting ya thats who i meant to respond to lol my bad

  • aww i love your curl pattern, v.versatile

  • your hair is so cute with this style! unfortunately with my hair when it's wet it shrinks extremely short. when it's not wet it's about 4" long when it's wet it's shrinks to 2" long, would this hair style work for me because I like my hair wild & curly not short & curly and I've had my natural hair for 5 yrs now?

  • this looks alot with what u do with dreads because it doesnt take that long.

  • LOL at 0.48 the dogg

  • looks great!

  • BEAUTIFUL!! You saved my vacation! Now I know what to do in the little time I have left before my flight!! WITHOUT spending a hundred bucks. Doing this for the first time tonight with my 13 year 0old. Please, keep me in prayer!

  • Too cute and so simple, thanks for posting this

  • your camera person is hilarious and the dog is adorable

  • Thumbs up if Logan Sent you

  • preeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetty!

  • Your hair is JUST like mine. im gonna be watching more of your hair videos

  • that dog is too cute!!!!! Hey Bentley!!!!!!!

  • My hair doesnt comeout like urs. My hair is half thick and half curly somewhat. My sister done this before onm y head and i looked like don king's daughter. LOL

  • @virgingirl26 the flat twist out looks better if you do it with wet well moisturized hair.

  • @BasilColby ok thanks and imma have to try it wet and well moisturized.

  • super cute hair and dog

  • one word:gorgeous!

  • TURN OUT BEAUTIFUL!! :D

  • Comment removed

  • ur beautiful and you look great with your hair♥

  • how do u realize what type of hair pattern u have...cause i notice u have 3c 4a what does that mean?

  • @mdozier09 Look up hair typing charts. The LOIS hair typing system is more accurate but when it's said that someone has more than one type, it means that their hair has different sections. Her crown may be a 4a, while the rest of her hair is a 3c.

  • does ur hair hav to b natural to try this

  • its cute but it looks to dry

  • Your hair is gorgeous!!!!!! :-)

  • Omgosh lol this is exactly my hair type!!! =D im so happy i found sum1 else that knows!! (btw im not mixed!)

  • haha! i thought the dog was her hair for a sec. i was like ahhhh!!!

  • awwww ur doggies adorable what type of dog is that???

  • @mszlanlan it's a yorkshire terrier :)

  • Cute puppy! like the hair too!

  • random but are you cape verdean?? or eastern african? you have those features lol

  • I TRIED THAT AND MINE CAME OUT WAY BETTER WELL THATS BECAUSE IM MIX WITH AFICAN!!!!!!LOL

  • @sadebubblez your point???

  • Cute hairstyle! And my yorkie's name is Bentley, too!!!

  • pretty hair

  • i got a question your hair is naturally curly right?? now would this hairstyle work on permed/relaxed hair...cause mine is flat straight!! and i wasnt it to be curled but i cant stand all that heat.. and that curling pudding..is that expensive? where can u buy it?

  • lol at Bentley trying to steal the spotlight.

  • Love it! Do you think it would work on short hair? say 3 or 4 inch hair?

  • like the song!! and the vid!!

  • im not mixed and my curls are more defined than that lol no offense

  • @MzDancerr point?

  • wow..that's cute! im gonna try it!

  • wow sista we need to band together take what you can use and move on. Lets start supporting our people. I have hair like that and I 'm not mixed either some of us have wavy hair. FYI it not easier to manage cause it frizzie so we all have to adjust.

  • @gerjhyekjr5 lol it looks easier to manage than mine. i could NEVER comb, brush or manipulate my hair in its natural state like that. My hair wont even move in its natural state lol. so i would say wavy hair like this young lady has may be easier to manage than some peeps hair like mine for example.

  • @gerjhyekjr5 its a lot easier to manage...i have 4c hair.....no i have 5f hair...that true african nap that you jus dont see anymore yes its easier to manage...EASY- maybe not but EASIER-most definitely

  • @gerjhyekjr5 I so agree with this! Thanks for saying it! :-)

  • @gerjhyekjr5

You are right...I am in the mist of transitioning and my hair is very curly and thick. from time to time i have very bad frizzy hair.

  • The comment at the end had me busting out laughing. The back of my head, NO MATTER WHAT, has a mind of its own! LOL! Thanks for the video, can't wait to try this out!

  • lol great video. the puppy was making me laugh :p

  • im sorry if i sound ignorant, but what it 4c or 3a hair?

  • @deraxox it has to do with how tightly coiled the hair is. The "scale" ranges from bone straight to kinky/afro-like hair. I hope this helps but if not google might give you a better understanding. :-)

Oh and no you don't sound ignorant. :-)

  • i am not exactly sure what kind of texture hair i have (or will have) because i am still very much relaxed, so i don't know how to make this work for me because i want my hair to look like this! (as a transition style) any thoughts?

  • lol@the puppy, so cute

did you feel any kind of crunchy-ness. I just tried this product and it left my ends slightly crunchy-not the way gel leaves your hair just a little stiff...but I still liked it and will use it again.

  • I have 4a/b/c hair lol.... and my hair is shorter.... i wonder if i can pull a twist out like that to make it look more full

  • That is cute girl! You have a beautiful texture of hair. My mom use to do my hair that way a long time ago when my hair was relaxed. She also use to put some rods on the ends so it want frizz up when you take it down. I think with your hair texture though, you didn't need that because it curled up on it's own once you finished the twist.

  • OMG you look like my grandma .... its not a bad thing either but her hair isnt pretty and curly like yours its straight ... But thanks for this though we have the same exact hair type

  • i wish my hair to be: if curly, i want it to be really curly like afro but if straight, i want to be straight to like pointy straight.............. too bad i have wavy hair (in between curly and straight)

  • i love the flat two stand twist...i get better definition than a regular twist out...i'm glad i found this because i thought i was the only one lol

  • very pretty hair chica

  • thankks for the vid. wat kind of dog is that? he/she is sooo cute!

  • Everyone is mixed

  • how were you securing the ends?

  • yesss! i'm 4a and I tried this with kinky curly and it comes out fabulous! try it!

  • Love your natural curls!

  • thanks so much for this! I tried it and it worked out great! :)

  • i love this song!~!! name please???

  • @decemberbeauty24 come with me by Amerie

  • I know so many non-mixed black women in church with naturally curly hair! Sistahs please dont be vezed with me but this girl does look like she could be mixed

  • I know so many non-mixed black women in church with naturally curly hair!

  • I know so many non-mixed black women in church with naturally curly hair!

  • does this work for african relaxed hair ?

  • @babysasha yes it does.

  • I don't have much to add except thanks for showing me how to do flat twist. I appreciate it.

  • it looks messy.

  • is miss jessies as pricey as carols daughters products? im so cheap lol is it worth it?

  • i love the texture of your hair. and thanks for this video!!!

  • so i guess that might work better than carols daughters hair milk, i am going 2 try miss jessies

  • Thx for this video. We have the same hair type and I tried this last week and it came out great. Everyone loved it. It was the look I was going for. Thanks again!

  • this was the first hairstyle i started wearing years ago when I first went natural because two strands take too long..I just have a difficult doing the twists myself I always go to a braid salon to get it done...good job!

  • Thank you so much for posting this vid! I am going to try it right away!

  • my hair is us like your texture but mines is a lot short i jus cut it recently

  • GORGEOUS, LEXI!! We have the same hair type. I like the idea of the twist/ cornrow instead of just the two-strand twist. I'm gonna try it! Ur doggie is CUTE!! Thanks!

  • i love your curly hair!

  • Thank you so much for posting!

  • Pretty

  • AHAHAHAH cute dog.

  • nice

  • 5 stars for bentley

  • how often are you supposed to put oils in your hair? Oils like olive oil carrot oil, shea butter etc... How much is actually to much and should you only put it on your scalp and just a lil on your hair, i asked this lady at a hair store how to use olive oil on hair and she was a black lady and she had no idea. help!!!!!!

  • @mizzcarmel26 It depends on how thick your hair is and how much oil you need. I have really thick hair but it is medium short and thirsty. I make 7 sections in my hair and put 1 teaspoon of oil on hair and scalp and 1/2 tsp of leave in conditioner two inches from my scalp after each co wash and I wash twice weekly. 7tsp of oil total

  • That's s what i want to know, they say to much can cause your scalp to have thick dandruff

  • Put it on every other day or every day depending on how fast your hair feels dry. I will alternate my oils. One week I will use jojoba, then olive, then coconut, then shea, then avocado, then grapeseed etc. I put oil on the last two inches of my hair every night because that hair touches my coats or sweaters and those will suck the moisture out. You justwantto oil lightly, not look like you were caught up in an oil slick!

  • I am so going to try this but I would make the rows like the first one you made, that one came out the nicest. I think the back of the hair didn't come out as nice because there was too much hair.

  • That is a cute hairstyle.

  • cute dog

  • I like it. Nice for summer.

  • Wow..awesome! I love it ! thanks for sharing..unfortunately my hair is not long enough...i'm not sure it'll be able to do it

  • you look like my older cousin meagan (beautiful gurl)

    nice hair :)

    keep on going :P

  • Great idea! I'm going to try it on my daughter's hair. I miss the music, too! :) Thank you for sharing.

  • I like the way the hairstyle came out : ), but what happened to the music for the rest of the video??? I only heard one song!

  • WE ARE HAIR TWINS! im totally trying this :) it looks so cute when ur all done. PS i love ur lil dogs camio lol

  • @Tina53310

Same here!!! I'll be sure to try as well.

  • You are so cute and your hair came out great. I am gonna try this!

  • I'm not mixed and I have hair like that. How is it obvious that she is mixed? Very uneducated response. SMH.

  • OMG. The kettle calling the pot black. LOL!!! If you had an ounce of education, it would be clear to you my comment was based on folks saying her hair was "obviously mixed hair." I don't see how that is obvious. I see those comments as uneducated. I am not mixed and I often get asked if I am mixed based on my hair and skin tone. Chicken Head, oops, I mean, Chickenetta, please education yourself about hair in general before making comments such as, "obviously mixed hair."

  • @AlwaysChasingJustice all African AMERICANS are mixed at least a small amount.

  • @xxmuzicchickxx yea dat!

  • @AlwaysChasingJustice are you fro the caribbean, because I've only heard "The kettle calling the pot black" saying in Jamaica?

  • @montegogyal2 are you being serious right now?

  • @Cutecare excuse me...I don't believe I was talking to you, so would you kindly explain to me why you asked me if I was being serious?

  • @montegogyal2 first off take a chill pill and check the attitude. When I said "are you being serious right now" I meant with your whole comment about "the kettle calling the pot black" saying only being heard in Jamaica. It isn't only heard in Jamaica it's heard everywhere that's why I commented. It's not that serious so stop bugging.
