My big crushes same as dc9den plus Heather Locklear. I lusted after Deborah for years. Saw her dancing live at a taping of Solid Gold. She had the hottest body of any female on television during her stint as a Solid Gold dancer. She had that dark tough look that always captivated me.

I loved Solid Gold as a kid and can remember being captivated by Deborah Jenssen during those dance routines and countdowns. Saw some recent photos (2008) of her and she still looks great. Thanks for the video.

These clips are timeless! I have posted comments before, but I just had to revisit and say that any aspiring dancer should truly watch and study Deborah Jenssen. Her technique was impeccable and her style just made every movement look easy and natural. She was definitely one of my top three Solid Gold Dancers!!

I was just watching the Top 100 videos of the 80s on VH1 Classic, and it made me think of this show...which made me think of my favorite dancer Deborah. One of the most beautiful, talented women ever to walk the face of the earth. I remember many of these moments quite well. Before I had a VCR, I would take super 8 movies off the tv, do freeze frames, and make pencil sketches. :-)

Deb was by far my favorite SG Dancer. A 20 on scale from 1 to 10. Thanks for putting this together, because I have no idea what happened to all my Solid Gold VHS tapes. Wonder what she is up to these days.

I didn't really know her as well as my brother did...they are the same age. I hung with her younger brothers a lot which is how I got to know her, but she left NY for Los Angeles when I was about 10. Her mom is an awesome lady. She just, this past year, sold the house on the street where we all grew up in NY. My parents still live on that street. Deb, from what I remember at the funeral, is living in Los Angeles still (after spending a lot of time in France once Solid Gold went off the air).

Yup, debra was one of the best, esp when she danced with Tony Fields (base male solid gold dancer by far)...Both were missed after they left the show at the end of season 4!!!

This is great!!! Deborah definitely had the sultry, silky movements. Combined with those eyes and gorgeous body, she provided somewhat of a mysterious allure, which to me, made her stand out. Every dance move she executed seemed effortless. Deborah, as one of the original Solid Gold Dancers represented to the fullest what Solid Gold was all about and kept viewers coming back for more week after week.
