This bill is designed to put private insurance companies out of business; it will work. End the evil insurance companies and their massive 2-4% annual profits :) These scumbags are getting rich, not as rich as microsoft with a 24.93% profit, or Phizer with 16.32%, or Merc with a 24.59% profit, but they are getting filthy rich none the less.

1st its ILLEGAL to require people to buy something just for being alive. Some people compare it to required car insurance but no one forces anyone to drive.

2nd- this INCREASES the debt. This bill forces us to pay 10 years for 6.. and then 16 years for 20. The CBO corrected itself and now says it will create a deficit. It is geared to INCREASE DEBT! And it also depends on ridiculous GDP growth of 10or15%

It doesn't cost much because the cost is being passed on to the working class. There are no restrictions on what an insurance co can charge you (up to 15% of your gross pay that is) and they are guaranteed a monopoly. How is this helping the common person..it's not.

Private insurance will be forced ot pay for ALL cardiac and lung cripples, AIDS and HIV patients, autoimmune disorders, etc., ie, each patient will cost over a million dollars to treat or just to stay alive (HIV patients are about $25,000 a MONTH just for medications). It will drive the cost of health care to go up astronomically-and people wont be able to afford it. And by law they are FORCED to keep it or get fined! If you fail to pay you get ARRESTED if you don't keep this insurance.
