I need this Perceptor for my 4 year old son because he is a die hard Transformer fan. I am a single mother with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and can't even find a job in a lousy grocery store out in Saint Cloud, MN. My son would love to have every transformer toy he sets his eyes on. Since his Father left when he was 1 years old our lives have not been easy and I can't afford to buy him toys as often as I wish I could. I would love to have this because it would make him super happy.

@drewsiferxxx I sort of have this guy. I have a custom that I bought off of peaugh to benifit the canadian "fallen heroes" charity for the families of fallen soldiers. He is so nice I am afraid to transform him. I saw this guy ONCE at a marshalls. But there was a kid eyeing him and I wanted him to have it. Not a great reason, but hey :)

i live in London england and this figure was nerver released in normal stores only the mail order ones and specialist stores and the charged way way up for anything Transformers and i did not and could not pay those prices so i ended up not getting alot of the generations/RTS line's...which is a shame because to me they were the best Transformers toys...so i would love to have a chance to own this guy:)

I need a Perceptor because I live in a TINY town a long long way away from the big cities, with toys'r'us's, and walmarts, and other magical lands of toys, we only have one chain store that carries toys, but they only get waves 1, 2, and SOMETIMES 3 of any transformers line (and it's been that way for years), and that includes the "popular" (as far as the stores are concerned) movie lines!

Most of these toys I never even SEE, much less have opportunity to buy.

And that's why I need Perceptor.

Excellent contest! Here it goes: the reason why I should be getting RTS Perceptor: First of all, I dont have it, and I cannot just go an purchase one where I live. I collect, TFs, since way back. (As I presume you do), and I have quite a bunch of them. Many of the TFs of my collection have interesting stories. I once managed to get my sister to bring me some TFs from Austria, for example. By sending him to me, you will be helping me get it, and we will both have a cool story each time we see it!

Perceptor, is incredibly rare in buffalo Ny. Besides Scourge and Kup, not much else shows up here. I'm 28 years old, and I seen the original 86 movie in the theaters. I am trying to build up the roster of the 86 film, and I am looking to finally complete my roster. That perceptor transformers is awesome it has a good design. I wish I could have found it because it reminds me somewhat of a half track and the g1 transformers my grandparents use to have when my sister and I were little. One other reason is it actual has plated chrome. It is rare to find on a mainline transformer which chrome detail, unless you pay big bucks for it like masterpiece transformer. Also, it has remnants of microscope on the figure which my brother use to tinker with as a kid.

If youre asking for a NEED for the answer, I believe the NEED is for this specific Perceptor toy for me is because I have never had the chance to be able to get my hands on any incarnation of the character. I missed the chance to get my hands on his original toy back in 2003 but didn't get in line fast enough at the one and only Transformers convention that I was ever at. But mostly, I NEED this Transformers toy simply because it would be awesome to own. Collecting for me has been rought lately.

This One (aswell as most of the HFTD/RTS line) Never showed up here, and when/if they did they flew off the shelves before I could get to em And I always really wanted him.

He is one of the Few Autobots other Then Optimus that I always remembered from the original show(Was very young when it came out) and I just though he was a good looking figure and alas I could not find him here, so That is why I'd love to have him.
