  • It's a tumbler

  • nothin is invincible , everythin has weakness , althought if the batmobile was made from titanium and coated with diamond it would be almost indestuctable ... but not invincible

  • That's why the joker destroyed it...

    cause it's invincible

    LOL

  • @LOCOJR619 WONK WONKKK..LOL

  • @LOCOJR619 Ah but he didn't, it evolved into a bike =P

This would be better with better music.

  • the 89 was far better.

  • no revolver makes a sound like a cannon!

  • its not invincible, it hardley took any damage in TDK and it had to say goodbye. the armour on the 89 batmobile was virtually indestructible.

  • It took an RPG to it's jet thruster.

And in the 89 movie a revolver took down the batplane.

  • thats sick homie

  • and its not invisible ........

  • RIP tumbler

  • this scene would've been better without the ok go music.

  • im guessin tha name invisible

  • sick

  • I have considered similar evasive maneuvers for chases over roofetops as an option many times to avoid speeding tickets around town.

  • unfortunately, the joker has proved it's not invincible with a bazooka lol!

  • The 'Tim Burton' 89 batmobile is easily the best. although the 'tumbler' comes in second.....being the ONLY other batmobile to exist!!! ;)

  • It's hard to tell, because the camerawork is so darkly lit, but is looks like Batman is positioned Horizontally in a shaft, rather than in an upright seating postition, for what POSSIBLE Reason??? Am I seeing this right? I mean How is that better?? Is he just Really into this car???

  • All cars would be better like that. its just not practical tho.

  • Driving from a prone position takes the compressive loads off the driver's spine during jumps. It also means he can lean into turns, a good kinesthetic cue for aggressive driving, and is boresighted with the cannons. I'd rather drive that way. He's also on the seat for the Bat-pod in that position, but we don't know it yet.

  • I don't follow. You act as if such a car exists, which I have never heard of, then say this position would be convinient.

Okay, fine, maybe this is good for His spine, but he has a Passenger! So you crash into a wall, and you're head gets hit. It's Bad for you're spine because you have to lift your head up to see where you're going. And the design specs aren't convienent, because the shaft would be where other things would be, like the engine, but I'm no mechanic.

Back to the old drawing board

  • It doesn't have a front mounted engine or axle - te "in-movie" car has front hub motors (in theory, since they drive the batpod.) For the movie practical, the front wheels weren't powered and were independently mounted to struts-again, no axle or shaft. My point was that the design of the movie vehicle was driven by good reasons, gleaned from a number of successful concept cars and designs for possible "unlimited class" racing vehicles.

  • Are you saying that a it is possible for a driver to be positioned horizontally on his stomach and still drive safely, and that such a concept car exist, for the purposes of racing, at over 100mph.

  • Sure. Chapparell 2H was originally designed for one had one, Heliotrope solar racer has one, BE1 'Electric Bluebird' had prone seating and was built for north of 200mph. And, of course, motorcycles do just fine in that position. Anyway, splitting hairs now. I dig the car in any case.

  • Wow never thought of that, very true though, sitting is the last thing you want to do during harsh impacts, rally drivers have seriously hurt their backs off big jumps. Lying down would probably get you winded, but since he can't stand... What about rachel though lol. Cricketmite you twat, this car does actually exist, and did do most of the stunts. Tumbler FTW

  • suckmypokecock dont everyone know this car exist? lol if not how would like they show this car with computer and stuff lol btw i really want it and my step dad ses no one can drive it coz i commented why wont they use the tumbler for the Iraq war? and he ses no lol

  • Best Batmobile ever

  • um no it's not

  • thomasw78, you have no idea... The Tumbler is the best batmobile invented ever

  • I own (& love) this movie, but being a carpenter & engineer, I gotta say driving on rooftops would never work. Most rooftops are designed to support roofers, roofing material, & not much else.

  • re: How could you POSSIBLY have a car chase on a Rooftop??? This is like watching the old TV show when they would climb up the side of the building, through deft camerawork, and then say hi to Sammy Davis Junior looking out his window, in that it defies ALL Reason!

  • yea this has been killed by faggie music

  • ok. can someone put the car chase scene in with out screwing around with it, cause it's getting old i just wanna watch the original fucking scene thanks...

  • lmfao

  • YOUR lmfao you guys just can't keep it to original which means your not really a fan. and the music you guys choose doen't fit with the scene it's just stupid, and it ruins a good movie. if i were to make a movie i wouldn't choose any of you guys to make the music for it. i'd choose steve j. or someone that has talent.

  • well im sorry that i found your comment as funny as hell and if u were to make a movie i wouldent WANT to work on your movie...I think thts a pretty good comeback anyway conversation CLOSED!!!!

  • You're right. The music just doesn't fit the scene.

  • if i were to make a fake scene of my own, i'd put a song from jet li's WAR movie in it. not some classic rock song. i love rock n' roll but not when it doesn't fit into a movie scene

  • Jumping roof-tops- how original!

    Cool...

  • damm i want a car like that

  • para mi el mas lindo es el del comic justice de alex ross es fantastico

  • i have to say the best vehicle thus far is the tumbler....

  • I LOVE THE TUMBLER!!!!!!

  • the real question is....who fucks wit the batmobile

  • problem i found out was the chassis did not fit the batman kinda weird and ugly

  • how many points is on his license! do they sell these kind of cars through a main dealer?!! i want one!!!

  • The Batmobile may not be Invincible but it certainly is Kick Ass.

  • Now THIS is the set of bitching wheels the dark knight detective should be driving!!!...not that FAG claptrap Tim burton version.

  • I know he's a billionaire but shouldn't he be more careful with his resources? Not a movie goes by that he doesn't destroy a vehicle or the Batcave. On a slightly more serious note, the rumor is that Hot Wheels may have gotten it right: the Batcycle may be based on the Dodge Tomahawk.

  • Relax. In Batman Begins, all his toys turned out fine... his house burned to the ground, but his Bat-things were fine.

  • I still think he should be more careful. He's almost as bad as James Bond when it comes to minimizing damage to his vehicles.

  • youll find out i nthe sequel that its not invincible thats all im gonna say

  • yeah, i know. rumor has it that it will be replaced by the batcycle. eitherway, im getting all hot and bothered just waiting.

  • I dont really want a motorcycle I want a new batmobile

  • it'd be nice to see a new batmobile, but the batcycle could be good if its anything like Paul Pope's batcycle from Batman Year 100. That think LOOKED like a bat, vicious man, vicious.

  • They have unveiled pictures. There is to be a cycle, acctually called the BatPod. But I've also seen a few pictures from the set, and they're definently using the Tumbler in the movie at some point.

  • Figured this out a long time ago, but took me forever to get up off my ass and put it together.
