Hallo Ulli ist es noch Gitarre spielen oder kann man schon sagen das es Gitarre fühlen ist? Meinen größten Respekt. Vielleicht sieht man sich ja mal in einem deiner workshops.

I have a 12. I built it in 1965, 40+ years ago, and I've put a few hundred thousand miles on it since. I know very well the symphonic intonations the beast is capable of, and you capture them all. In a way, in this piece, you take the genius of Leo Kottke and expand on it in your own original way, and the result is brilliant.

Yep. It shows how badly I wanted one. I was a college student, couldn't possibly buy one, so I started reading everything I could get my hands on, bought the raw materials from a wood service for luthiers, and spent 6 months learning as I went. The day I strung it up and played it for the first time was one of the biggest thrills of my life.

I've never yet tried building a second one, but I proved to myself that I could. :-)
