A warning for everybody who's trying to do this on an iPad 2 (iOs5) => The makers from Beeline have most likely found a workaround this cheat and as a punishment for trying to cheat, your village is completely reset and you're starting off with 2 smurfs on a pirate Island at the beach. Did it at first and found myself on the other side of the island without any change in coins or smurfberries,got to the other side and found all my smurfs intact. Tried the process again, now i have 999999 of everything, too much money and berries ,i dont know what to do with it.lol,thanks

Strangely followed all the steps..

Replaced the two modified files in the iPhone Explorer/Smurfs/Documents

But as soon as I launch the game it changes them back to the previous files.

Nothing changed in the game but if I open iPhone Explorer again and check the 2 files, they are as if I did not change anything...

Disappointed..

Any solution please? I'd be greatful ;)

So, when I copy the modified files to iexplorer, it says 'are you sure you want to delete file MAP_GC etc.', so I click 'yes' and it get replaced by the new file, same with safebackup. When I copy that new file back to my desktop and open it with the hex program, it's fine and still modified, but when I start my smurf village nothing's changed...then I open iexplorer, get the MAP file and the safebackup and open it with that hex program again. It changed back to where I started. what went wrong?

@BradeaElena Use your iPhone explorer to track the time these files get updated. Then you can figure out which ones are involved in the hack. I have isolated a few of the files you mentioned. However when I find the area to make the change the game center has a tendency to reset my game. That thing is not meant for our protection. It is protecting the other side. So the area you are looking for is roughly near the "My Village" section which is near the bottom.I almost have it but not quite

@BradeaElena You can track the files by earning a coin and then checking the day and time the file was saved. I would also do the same thing when a smurf berry is earned as well. There also seems to be an "option" file in there as well. I will check the other files on your list on some changes.

Game center seems to be the big barrier.  Turning it off seems to reset the game to zero as well. I am experimenting with this hack. It is tough. This is personal for me now.

I downloaded the update 1.1.5.1 before I stumbled upon your hack. Your steps are somewhat different than what is supported by the most recent update... in the sense the files you mention/edit do not exist in 1.1.5.1 (this is the first version I am playing with). Anyhow, I tried editing the three files using iexplorer and Hex (edited default01, timedbackup, and safebackup). But the coins and smurfberries do not change. Any idea what could be going on?

I strictly followed the procedure on an ipad2 (received for X-mas): download and installation of HexW and iExpl, update of MAP_GC_... and Safebackup files, but did not work.

What was strange is that it was possible to find the coin value in the MAP_GC file but not Safebackup one. Anyway, it was easy to find the sequence for that value, I replaced it with the same value for Coins and Smurf Berries in the 2 files then copied the files on the ipad, but did not work.

Any idea?
