  • thanks for clarifyin

  • what brand hids are they?

  • does the lights get hot ? i mean i have heard tht hid's make ur lilghts go dark slowly due to its heat

  • I have PIAA 4000k extreme white plus for my f-150 2006, i was wondering how much a difference 6000k HIDs would make?

  • Anyone have any Ideal if this is legal in Mass? the 6000k

  • How much did the kit cost you? I have a 2011 Subaru impreza and it has projector beams with h11 type bulbs. But I'm just not sure which company I should order from. Did it take long for it to be shipped to you?

  • I bought the PIAA 4000k for my lancer. They were shit. Then I bought 8000K HID and i love them

  • Are the 6000k the headlights u find on a BMW Cadillac n so on ??

  • pretty legit man, check out my video of my 8000k hids on my cougar!

  • have you been pulled over for the tint yet?

  • @thepriusisgay I live in georgia and have less than 15% where the legal is 35% and never get pulled over for tint. I got pulled over for speeding and I got a warning for the tint, for what its worth.

  • Nice headlights, and that instrument panel on that honda is hot!!!

  • How is it compare to 5k, do you happen to know? Is it actually pure white?

  • How is it compare to 5k, do you happen to know?

  • @MinusRaincloud I wouldn't suggest putting the HID into the high beams if you don't drive down dark country roads. Because if you only have them on like most of the public it is for a very short time. HID's take to long to reach full brightness to be useful to use for high beams.

  • hahahaha i seen a giant rat

  • i have a 97 sierra and im wonderign would replaceing the 65watt high beam with 6000k hids make a big difference?

  • did you have to get a relay or a cancel wire for this?

  • @verhoffj1 Nope just plug and play and boom you are ready to go...

  • Have you ever been pulled over for having them???

    Great Vid by the way

Also, what state do you live in?

  • @Galindo2012 you can't get pulled over for anything under 10k u mightttt maybe might get pulled over for 12k but blue not purple purple will get u pulled over 30k will get u pulled over aswell i have 10k in my car an there bluueee

  • Nice. I put a the 55W H4 hi/lo 6,000K kit on my FJ about 6 months ago. Lots of light for sure. I also just fitted a 55W H3 6,000K kit into a set of PIAA driving lights. It wasn't as easy as a headlight job, but it was well worth the trouble.

  • whats better to do the lowbeams or the highbeams?

  • @Dansz71sierra I never did my high beams... I only did the lowbeams

  • my low beams are dimmer than your running lights at night. I just ordered some 6000K hid's for my 98 integra because I am sick of not being able to see at night. Did your have to do any cutting and re-wireing to install them. If you have to im not worried about it. Im a honda mechanic at a dealership and I am just trying to get an idea of what im going to have to do. and even with your tank almost empty you could probably go another 150 miles or more. gotta love Honda's.

  • lol how many comp monitors u got running there?

  • do u like them? are they good for driveing around town/far out on backroads? and are they durable? i do some offraoding and looking for a good inprovment for lighting

  • Are they 35w or 55w?

Nice video, and scary looking cat hehe

  • @rvshark 35 watt in the fog and 55 for the headlights

  • How much was this kit? I'm not sure what to put on my car 4300k or 6000k..

  • @pzolo88 45.00 or so

  • Cool lights......why buy a honda.......?

  • Hey Bud, are they 35w or 55w?

  • What do you do for a livin' if you don't mind me askin? Cause you have all kinds of pretty cool things! I want to get things like that when ever I want but instead I have to wait months at a time to get one thing! Hm what's your secret!!!!

  • nice i just ordered some from ebay hopefully they are decent. are they 6000k or 4000k the box says 4k..

  • Question: Don't the HID lights burn much hotter and might melt the factory headlight housing? I like the look and from the video it's clear they give you much more visibility at night, not to mention your car now looks like something from Star Treck. Beam me up scotty!

  • I have some questions...

    1. Are these 35w or 55w?

    2. What 'd you do to your cat? lol...

  • How many wattage ballast are you running?

  • Are your ddms still working? I just ordered yesterday!

  • Your "matchbox" car is from Japan. I used to have a lot of those when I grew up in Japan. If I'm not mistaken, the brand is called "Tomy" and those go for about $3 USD each.

  • @tubegangsta The parent company is Takara Tomy Co. but the little cars are the Tomica cars :)

  • Thanks man, I was just referencing this video for the 6000k color plus factory projectors, its for my 06 CTS . Thumbs up

  • You should put hid on ur fogs too

  • @Drboy2595 I did lol

  • i love your cat whats his or hers name

  • Hi

    I have a question

Is the 5000k brighter than 6000k

    Thanks

  • @brianmnguyen Each step 4000k,5000k, 6000k has a different tint aswell as a different output of visible light. Most 35w systems will be give the purest white at roughly 5000k to 6000k. Most above those numbers will increase the blue tint but visible light will seem diminished. I'm unsure if its diminished severely, but for safety's sake (both yours and other drivers) 4000k-6000k would be best.

short answer, 6000k will be brighter, but not a significant amount.

  • @easymail116 the lower the colour temperature, the higher the visible light output.

  • @brianmnguyen 6000k refers to the colour of the light, but the more white/yellow colours have higher light outputs and the 8000k,10000k,12000k lights have generally lower light outputs.

  • @brianmnguyen yea

  • 1. where did u bought ur hids from?

2 did it came with a relay?

  • that's not a cat - it's a gremlin! and you've fed it after midnight!!!

  • Oops, Sorry you mention who you bought the HIDs from.

  • @mcgmark For reliable and cheap hids go to ddmtuning . com

  • Who did you order the LEDs and HID from?

    Any problems with either?

  • haha I had that theme on my iPhone too! But now I have a different one. Nice video!

  • haha I had that theme on my iPhone too! But now I have a different one. Nice video!

  • Nice video. I could not decide what HIDs to go for until i saw this. Choice was between 5000 and 6000k but i was worried 6000 was going to be too blue and look tacky. Not the case though.

You do have a scary looking cat too!

  • to get the clean cut off did you just get them professionally adjusted?

  • @tuska20000 No I did them myself

  • whats the key to having a clean cut off on your headlights ? do they just need correctly aligning up. regards tim.m

  • @tuska20000 No honestly I just installed them and made sure to look at them aind turn the bulb a little..

  • @tuska20000 Projector Lenses.

  • @tuska20000 There are two types of headlights. Reflector, and Projector. Most stock older vehicles are equipped with Reflector headlights - meaning the light is projected into a reflector dish, pushed back into the headlight - and reflects outward, this causes the standard refracting look of a standard headlight housing. Projector uses a curved lens housing to project the beam, and the cutoff is caused by a metal/aluminum plate blocking the light as its being projected outward.

  • @tuska20000 You just need projectors.

  • i jumped when i seen the cat and was like oh my gosh its naked

  • do you still have the hid's still on the car??if so,how they running??any problems?

  • @MandosGTIAllDay YEs I do in both Fog and Head lights and they are running great no problems at all...

  • @pdconner wow sick dash, what car you got

  • thats pretty awesome only 25 minutes is great time! looks great when they are all blue and warming up! excellent cant wait to get mine
