For those of you who are intent on 'rubbishing' Jovi - shame on you. You have absolutely no idea how much he was exercised and loved. He was in tip top condition, perfectly proportioned and did not have an ounce of fat on him! If you don't like him, fine, but don't be disrespectful! At the end of the day, he was our big fella and was completely adored! Mind you, I suppose its not my fault you 'bad-mouthers' have been dragged up with no manners! You disgust me!
@pbondie007 Sorry? how is saying that he was overweight bad mouthing? & that anyone who disagrees with you been dragged up? That's just crazy! What do you do in the showring when one judge doesn't give you the ticket or, god forbid, decides to put you down the line?? If others said to me my horse/dog is carrying too much weight I would take onboard what they have said, they see the animal with fresh eyes, we often see our animals through rose-coloureds so it's essential not to be blinkered
@allgonepetetong7160 I don't show dogs, my father does. I am not blinkered nor do I have 'rose-coloureds', I call it love! And I'm not bothered about what judges think, nor do I care about your opinion. But this was Jovi's finest hour and you saying he was overweight is quite hurtful. If you took the time to look back through the previous posts you would see he died not a year after this show, so please stop being rude and disrespectful. If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all!
fuck i hate listening to snotty nosed pommy pronounciatins. I KNOW WHAT UR GONNA SAY - if u dont like it fuck off, yeah yeah i was watching for the beautiful dog.
I dont mean to knock this guy & his rotti. Well done to him, but to be fair his rotti is a little plump. If you was to see my BOY honest he's gorgeous, as lean as anything.

No no no! That is a god awful obese dog that if I were to see without anyone telling me what breed it is, I'd assume it was a Rottweiler mix, an over weight out of shape rottie mix......
@lovetogallop I believe it's a true rep of the breed. The line is probably European blood as opposed to the taller more angular American blood line. My rotty's parents are from Slovina and he is more stocky in build than the American Rottys I've seen. At 18mo he's 95lbs and his head still hasn't come in.
@cookster67 at 18 months if hes head hasent come in yet thats probobly what u have got.. a rott will be fully shaped at a year old, they only get more mature later in there years. but built wise thats all ur gonna get. thats almost 2 years old.
So what you are saying is that because a few like minded people have all agreed that they think that this is a good dog, deserving of 20 tickets & this dog is totally at the peak of health?Funny that? it must be the same like minded people who think that show Greyounds are at the peak of fitness too yet parade in the ring bloated, extremely overweight specimens which are incapable of running at any speed.I used to go to shows and witness first hand judges putting up friends dogs & vice versa...
Lol,You have confirmed what the programme on BBC1(the trouble with pedigree dogs) highlighted, show people have no idea when it comes to dogs fitness & health, along with the proper keeping of livestock.Showing/judging does not make a person an expert on dogs, any nutter can keep a couple of dogs(normally in cages, not kennels),read a couple of books & profess to be an'expert',as for this dog moving so well due to its supreme fitness,I dread to think what the state of all other show Rotties are in?
@allgonepetetong7160 Shut up you thick fuck!! What the hell do you know about show dogs?? Have you ever shown dogs? Have you ever been to a dog show? I'm guessing no, you know Jack Shit about the dog show world!! We look after our dogs very well, and keep them in top condition!!
@Denise3942 Hehe, oh dear, looks like I might have hit on a sore point. I have shown dogs (unfortunately) & seen it from the inside. Ive also had licensed Council & NGRC kennels, raced dogs & bred dogs, we also owned, bred & showed horses. Oh! and kept other various livestock animals, along with most of our friends & family. I never pretended to be an expert (I leave that to the showing lot) but I know an unfit dog when I see it.

2007-ben farok vágott rottweiler a győztesek kozött!!!!!!
Persze, ők nem FCI tagország, így tehetnek bármit.
Nem kell követniük az ADRK-t sem. A standardjuk lehet eltérő.
Aki itthon kiszolgálja őket, még jól is jár ( hat)

Unless you had your hands on this dog on the day, you have no idea what you are talking about. An overweight dog could not move like he does.
I have had my hands on this dog many times and he is always in top condition. He wouldn't have 20 tickets to his name if wasn't in perfect shape.
