As I've said in an earlier post, after the terrorists attacked and murdered 3,000 Americans, Bush had no option but to go to war, hence he was literally thrown into war, which I also stated in an earlier post. I don't mean to attack you but I have been watching Dave since 1980, have been to the show twice and remember the incident with Gov. Bush. Dave made it clear that everyone was taken by surprise when they realized later what they had on the tape. Maria Pope was on the set nightly at the time and on camera. If he had asked she would have mentioned it . Plus Dave has a box of tissues under his desk at all times and if Bush had asked to wipe his glasses they would have just grabbed him a tissue.
