I used to live there and someone told me that a animal had got in under the floor and chewed some wire witch caused the fire. But i don't know how many animals were killed, i went to have a look at animals there a couple of weeks later cause we were in the uk when that happened and didn't know about it and when we got there we were like what the hell happened here. So many animals lost their lives and so many animal owners were upset.

Oh my god my parents own an apartmant just across the main road from that store.the last time that I passed by there I noticed the building had been demolished...so sad to think of al those poor animals that died:(:(

the pet store owners should be sued it is arresponsible. If a building is going to have a fire get the animals out. The fir department is careless as well so much for saving lives.

its sad about the animals but they culd of died a worst death at least the lack of oxygen knocked them out first so they were alove when the fire consumed them.
my friend and i were just watching this video and a tear come to our eyes , many a time have we stumbled upon this place upon our visit to the irish bar round the corner. i got some beautiful pictures here in the summer.i will treasure. rip.

Nope, but next door the BMW showroom has now been finished.
There is a fence around the Centrocan site and the sign has remained standing throughout.

The company should be sued
If there was going to be a fire in the building.
The company should of removed the animals before the building had a fire.
