I never had any problems with the sound of mine. I put on a x pipe, maybe that made a difference. I love the sound of it.

I just got some loudmouths on my mustang the other day. The sound really doesn't sound too different when I'm driving. I am thinking about getting an x pipe too because the sound just doesn't sound that different to me. The only time it really makes noise is when I'm in park and rev the engine hard. Other than that, I still can't drown out my dads Harley Davidson exhaust on his bike.

Did you ever have any issues with the LM2's?

I have them now and now there is a muffled raspy noise that developed in one, and now its in both mufflers...kind of takes away from the awesome sound and its annoying

Can anyone tell me what the difference are between LM1 and LM2...?

The LM1 is much louder than the LM2. Both are resonators, the LM2 usualy won't get you pulled over by the police... the LM1 will. With the slp system you can interchange the two mufflers. Easy to clamp them in and out.

It's a 5 speed. Sold it this xmass, loved that car. It was a little on the loud side, but that's the way I wanted it.
