It's just the driving physics that are one of the most realistic of all driving games. The graphics - allthough they aren't bad for a game that's developed entirely by only 3 people - aren't very amazing. And they engine sounds could use some improvement, too. But remember, this game is all about realistic DRIVING PHYSICS, in which it beats most other games by far!

No other racing game fully renders the wheels as LFS does. Live for Speed is a fully fledged racing SIMULATOR, not racing game. Most want to use it with a wheel because it's so realistic.

Yeah... for the moment :P The game is still under construction, so while the game is this way now, you will want to try it later, in S3 or when it gets released (in a few years :P). Still it's the most enjoyable online racing simulator of all of them around the nets (if you have S2 of course).

It's easy to get the full game. Just search for an S2 unlocker. Note that this won't allow you to play online, since you need to but an account to login to online games...

No, check the date of this video, november 2006 is patch U which has these sounds on it. patch V onwards have a different sound system which is moddable.
