I loved James Cagney. There will never be another actor like him. He had class, and could portray a man from being a monster (white heat) to one being a real loving person. He always thrilled the screen.

Cagney is what it's all about. Yankee Doodle Dandy, no stunt jobs at all, all him doing those dance.s White Heat: Rage. One, Two Three, his comedy side. No actors today can play several different roles like he did cause they are over paid no class snobs.

I sent a dub of this AFI Lifetime award tv tribute to Mr.Frank Gorshin..before he died..he told me that he he enjoyed watching again and he was grateful that he was finally able to get a dub of the show.

Well, I think a lot of that could be considered fluff. The last biography of Cagney from about 10 years ago...told about his alienatiing behavior towards his children and how neither of his kids (adopted) spoke to him after growing up. What was often portrayed in the media and film was not necessarily the way it was...Joan Crawford, a good case in point.
