the goal was to have a natural look. the makeup artist was trying to achieve a certain brightness without the obvious appearance of makeup. i would like this look on lazy days when i don't feel like putting makeup on but want to present myself well. even if it's just a quick visit to a nearby grocery store.

Awesome! I normally keep my makeup very low-key and natural for just about any occasion. I've been looking for new ideas and I'm glad that I found this tutorial. Most "natural makeup" tutorials require a bunch of eyeshadow and tools. That's too much for me. I look my best when it looks like I'm not wearing any makeup.

if you don't already, you should really use a good moisturizer under your makeup. it will really make your face look more hydrated and dewy.
