  • Hiram, just a thought....put ash plate in bottom of firebox, fill froup Stove with wood pellets, set on ash plate and light. Put grill plate or firestix on top of stove, cook meal. This would keep pellets from falling through and make cleanup much easier!!

  • The bundt cake pan seems like a pretty good idea if you need to melt snow for a group. I wonder if opening up the center hole would increase or decrease boil times. Some before and after tests might be interesting.

Thanks again Hiram for all the great videos you do for us.

  • A better use for that cake pan is Yankeeprepper"s Christmas cake. :) Be Safe

  • Thanks for posting Hiram! Anthony.

  • I like this folding firebox stove awhole lot more than that beaner stove you had on last night. It looks to me as though they use exhaust pipe to make that thing, This stove looks like even though its larger than the beaner, it looks as though the firebox may weigh a little less than the beaner. The versatility of the folding firebox is what I like, the varied fuels you can use to cook with. To me that makes the folding firebox a winner in my book.

  • cool!

  • did you say burn the snow? lol... thank you

  • Well, maybe not burn it but if you're not careful the snow can be scorched and then it won't taste good. Putting some water in the pot before you fill it with snow sure helps keep the snow from getting scorched.

  • I think you should remove the top from the middle of the Angel Cake Pan after seeing what it does with the Westwind and Trangia.
