I love this movie, haven't seen it before today. on a hunt for the Stephen King movies I've missed out on, this was one of them, I was so surprised to see that it was Stephen King, this is not his typical work, however the ending was very Stephen King.
@Mydnytefantasy89 I haven't seen the movie, but I've read the book. They changed the ending. The first section with Bobby's childhood is my favorite part of the book.
@ShadesAndBoots I'm reading the book now, and yeah, the whole movie is different than the book, I'm kind of glad I watched the movie first, reading the book and getting such a different take on the story first would have probably let me down. Hard to imagine that though, this movie is so fantastically made, I give it as many thumbs as I could sever up!
this is honestly one of the best movies i have ever seen in my life. everyone was so perfect in their role. i especially feel sad that kids now and even when i was growing up, can't just go into the woods, lie on a log and read a book like carol is. the world's become so dangerous and scary that precautions have almost snuffed out certain wonders of childhood. this is one of the best parts of the film, when bobby's love for carol and ted's love help him up the hill.
Ted was seeing what was happening and gave Bobby strength through their psychic link to help Carol. This was a perfect example of the combined powers of the mind and heart overcoming any obstacle.
Been looking for this one. I think it's sad years later as a grown mom the story tells us she died. As Bobby comes back to town. It made me tear, dam script and book writers always making us feel mournings.

youtube is filled with homos and jerks that upload their retarded faces that think we give a shit about their uneducated opinion about things but no one uploads this movie :(
"Raising Victor Vargas' is more of a modern young love type of story... not childhood but more teenage hood. and it might be a bit much if you're a young.
No he didn t hit her.She was just sexually abused by him. They told her that it would be a work seminar but they didn t tell her that they will include alcohol and sex.
Of course it is nice.Because he loves her.But the end is very sad,he moves away with his mother and never sees her again. Many years after he gets the information that she died.He returns to that place and the only person that he finds is her daughter.
This movie was so eloquently done. I love the directors take on the Stephen King novel...I actually think I like it better then the book which is rare. I wish more clips were online
I love the movie and i prefered its story on the one in the book,it focuses more in human relationships more than in supernatural.

The movie's fantastic, the book is better.
I'd recommend it to everyone, if only it didn't put me in a strange state of limbo for about a month.
Glad and sorry, sorry and glad.
All I could do was think about that freaking book. It wasn't all together too unpleasant...
But the amazingly written story is only for the brave.

I love this beautiful movie especially Anton Yelchin's acting - extremely high level for his age. Anthony Hopkins and Hope Davis were great as well.

every time I watch this part, I cry. I find it very courageous how Bobby carries Carol to safety. Even when she is too heavy for him to carry.
