  • I love the movie and i prefered its story on the one in the book,it focuses more in human relationships more than in supernatural.

  • I am reading this book again right now. King is the reason why I wanted to be a writer.

  • doesnt it look like at 2:54 like she is carrying him

  • Loved this move to bad it was so under-appreciated.

  • I love this movie, haven't seen it before today. on a hunt for the Stephen King movies I've missed out on, this was one of them, I was so surprised to see that it was Stephen King, this is not his typical work, however the ending was very Stephen King.

  • @Mydnytefantasy89 I haven't seen the movie, but I've read the book. They changed the ending. The first section with Bobby's childhood is my favorite part of the book.

  • @ShadesAndBoots I'm reading the book now, and yeah, the whole movie is different than the book, I'm kind of glad I watched the movie first, reading the book and getting such a different take on the story first would have probably let me down. Hard to imagine that though, this movie is so fantastically made, I give it as many thumbs as I could sever up!

  • this is honestly one of the best movies i have ever seen in my life. everyone was so perfect in their role. i especially feel sad that kids now and even when i was growing up, can't just go into the woods, lie on a log and read a book like carol is. the world's become so dangerous and scary that precautions have almost snuffed out certain wonders of childhood. this is one of the best parts of the film, when bobby's love for carol and ted's love help him up the hill.

  • :40 Director mistake, the name's still there.

  • @Andrewevenstar02 so true.

  • I LOVE KING.

  • @sniperghost83 stephen king is king.

  • Ted was seeing what was happening and gave Bobby strength through their psychic link to help Carol. This was a perfect example of the combined powers of the mind and heart overcoming any obstacle.

  • This scene catches me in my heart every time I see it (LOVE the book by the way, have just finished it literally 2 seconds ago!)

  • my favorite movie of all time.

  • The movie's fantastic, the book is better.

I'd recommend it to everyone, if only it didn't put me in a strange state of limbo for about a month.

Glad and sorry, sorry and glad.

All I could do was think about that freaking book. It wasn't all together too unpleasant...

But the amazingly written story is only for the brave.

  • I love this beautiful movie especially Anton Yelchin's acting - extremely high level for his age. Anthony Hopkins and Hope Davis were great as well.

  • @Magnolia296 and mika boorem too, the girl who played carol gerber.

  • danmed harry

  • little mister chekov!....seriously though, great novel, and fairly good movie

  • i'm a movie addict and i watched this piece of art almost 7-8 years ago and i have always loved it....

  • wonderfull book havent seen the movie yet but i want to

  • i liked low men in yellow coats, but i never read the others. how are they?

  • ....that Shol'va hit a girl with a baseball bat!

    (Stargate reference sorry)

  • Been looking for this one. I think it's sad years later as a grown mom the story tells us she died. As Bobby comes back to town. It made me tear, dam script and book writers always making us feel mournings.

  • this movie was awesome i always like ut, btw i think bobby played in the new star trek movie but he was kind of a lil fag lol

  • ha im reading this book and it is amazing

  • sooooooooo niiiiice

  • Love this film : D

and this scene, it's just so nice ^^

  • every time I watch this part, I cry. I find it very courageous how Bobby carries Carol to safety. Even when she is too heavy for him to carry.

    True love in the flesh.

  • are there anyother movies like this i like the movies when there are a child hood romance and stuff comment back anyone

  • 'My Girl' part 1

    'Little Manhattan'

"Raising Victor Vargas' is more of a modern young love type of story... not childhood but more teenage hood. and it might be a bit much if you're a young.

can't think of any more at the moment.

  • the movie hearts in atlantis is the best movie i ever have see!!!!!!

  • I Love his movie read it and watched it i love it soo much

  • faaaaaaavourite movie

  • I love this movie so much. It's absolutely amazing. I cry every time I watch it and it will never get old.

  • such a good movie ='{

  • Yes you can, yes you can. :)

  • That was like, the saddest scene in a movie ever.

  • No he didn t hit her.She was just sexually abused by him. They told her that it would be a work seminar but they didn t tell her that they will include alcohol and sex.

  • does anybody have the movie on here?

    whts with the rape scene?

and also-y did he hit her?

    tel meee!!=]

  • Of course it is nice.Because he loves her.But the end is very sad,he moves away with his mother and never sees her again. Many years after he gets the information that she died.He returns to that place and the only person that he finds is her daughter.

  • @scuarval

Oh but if you read the book there is so much more to this tale.

  • @feodogg sadly i didn't read the book :-(

But i 've read what is happening in these parts which aren't in the movie. Still i have to say that the movie is wonderful!!

  • @scuarval that's not entirely true in the novel she's alive under a different name :)

  • thats so nice of the boy to help her

  • yes its a wonderfull movie i like it

  • its a wonderful movie.

  • go read the book and you know why harry hit her and that he DID NOT rape her.

so stupid to watch SK movies without reading the book. anyway a good movie!

  • agreed!Amazing book and film!

  • he didnt

  • did that harry guy raped carol or something because you saw the scene with the mum

  • shes hot :3

  • why does that boy hit her???

  • because shes friends with that little boy, and also because he's a dickhead

  • i loved the move but i just wish the girl didnt die

  • she had a heart like a lion...

  • Could someone please put the whole movie cuz it seems so good?

  • someone already did.

  • someone already did.

  • someone already did.

  • The movie was great, and it followed the book until the end.

  • wtf? it didn't follow the book at all.

carol didn't die in the book and he met her at the funeral

john sullivan died in a pretty strange way

    bobby never met carols daughter

like i said GO READ THE BOOK !!!

  • this is one of the scenes that was not a let down from reading the book but I woud have like to seen them go to college

  • i want to see the part where Bobby beats up the dude with the baseball bat!

  • Ok I am hooked I have to see more.

  • This movie was so eloquently done. I love the directors take on the Stephen King novel...I actually think I like it better then the book which is rare. I wish more clips were online

  • is the movie based on all 3 parts of the book?

  • no the other parts deal with the other characters going to college and the rest of theirs lives it spans over 40 years

  • Anton and Mika are so cute and awesome actors.
