@PhockPhaze I have been a Marine for 3 1/2 years and have never heard of this game. I don't think the Marine Corps would train their Marines via video games, I suspect it's a recruiting element or something.

As a matter of fact, the blurb for this game clearly said "This game is not sponsored by USMC, talk about a game that claim to be a USMC simulator but not sponsored or supported by the real experts.

Actually nearly 15 years ago when Doom was popular, the Marines tried to use Doom as a training tool (they made a game called Doom Marines), but I think the government eventually lost interest in virtual training instead using it as a recruitment tool for kids.

Never tried it (commercial version), but heard about it, not much into online gaming. But I am not surprised that virtual training warfare would appear. Given with new technology, the U.S defense department might take a second look at it again (by pouring more money on the research).

yeah the marines used to use this game as a virtual training program cuz its not good looking but its pretty realistic cuz you can bleed to death in this game. but its not a really good game but this game is old so i probably think they dont use it anymore and the bot scripting and animations moving is so awful

When the Team did a frag and clear, the one man threw the frag, thus leaving the front of the team exposed. The two man should step out, prime the grenade, the One man opens door then the two man throws in.

i worked on this game as a tester at Take 2. The game is Close Combat First to Fight. It's entertaining for a while but the AI was pretty off. From what i remember, due to frame rate, they put less opfors to take out. :/
