are they the exact same units as CP 9700-9800 with A/C or the more less the 9600 specs.

No CP Rail is leasing them at the moment. I think CITX is leasing 30 or more units to CPR. Theyre also AC4400'c too just like the CP AC4400's.

ur close, but CEFX, is an actual company, the LEASE these engines to CP for extra power, normally you would see them as DPU's but i have 1 video on my channel of a CEFX AC4400CW in the lead. as in this video.

Good looking older C40-8W. Still good road power but for some reason the big 4 is starting to let them go back. I see more & more of them as lease motors every day.
