  • Could some one tell me what piece of music the pipes and drums are playing, I think it is the most beautiful and stirring piece of music . It would have been my second choice after Scotland the Brave as Scotland's National Anthem.

  • sick i did not know young was a clan i thought we were part of clan MacKenzie lol

  • SCOTLAND FOREVER :D

  • Its dreadfully sad we still have this repulsive manipulative camilla whore around. One can well understand why the Queen and Royal Family regarded this filth as wholly unsuitable in the 1970s with camillas overtly promiscuous lifestyle its understood even the father of camillas own children is questionable! Unfortunately, inbred charles is not particularly intelligent and has allowed himself to be influenced by this malevolent parasite hopefully they will both come to an end very soon.

  • is there anyway to find out more about your clan?

my name is Cohoon... but its original spelling is Colquhoun...... i dont know much about us other then our tartan

  • @lilbser search them up on google i have read there history its pretty sick :)

  • I didn't make it, dagnabit. (That's not Gaelic. It's Texan) I am from Dallas, Texas and a member of Clan Gunn. I'm told I'm a descendant of King Edward III, but I haven't proven it yet. I'm descended from the Wilsons, Crows, Hunts, Guthries, Maxwells, Smythes, Atkins, Lees, Greens, Whites, Gregorys, Skinners, Bartons, Parkers, Densons, Gerards and Taylors.

  • I was there - Clan Lindsay. Didn't see as much as you, may I accompany you next time?? AWESOME JOB!!!

  • Very well done.Great job

  • Good job! Clan MacFarlane should be proud. :) (That one "poser" is looking rather aged, isn't he?)

  • That was excellent!

    Many thanks for posting

  • Great video.... what a great day that was. And thanks for the piping - very much appreciated.

    -Andy McFarlane

  • Hay 'mad dog' ;-) - you know I'd love to make contact with everyone else including Craig. Was you part of the tour to I Vow island and Arrochar etc ?

  • I wasn't - we met everyone at the Clan tent on the Saturday... Susan & I are planning a trip to Loch Lomond/Isle-I-Vow/Arrochar/Ardlui et al in the next few weeks. Steve & Marie are on our Facebook friendslist and we hope to catch up with a'bdy as soon as..

  • Fantastic video, and great editing. Loved that the photos of the pipe bands came in just as the volume ramped up. Love the version of Highland Cathedral that you used too. A great event with a good time had by all.

  • Great job you've done putting this together so quickly - it's lovely to see everyone enjoying the Gathering so much.

  • I would have loved to have been at The Gathering but unable to do so have been checking the web for pictures and videos. This is amongst the best results I have found, so thanks, SAORA1BA!

Your choice of music was inspired... where can I get the tracks? Especially the first one?

  • I think charlies gran was a Scot - I added the bit in about imposters just for fun ;-)

  • That she was......

And he is 34th in direct descent from Malcolm 2. (Royal House of Alpin)

  • Thank you brethren, your using 6 female and 28 male descends to create the tree I think. Its amazing to see connections with Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scotts ;-)

I might add annotations to the video clip!!!
