Yeah, the audio my camera comes in low sometimes, and sometimes it comes in high. A roll of the dice, I guess.

yeah people if they really see it they have that same expression on there face then since they can see a camcorder they are like thats funny I like how he has a cam on his car! hear that alot! so do you like the setup? I always have my window slightly open to hear the cars sounds but thats because I have a jvc camcorder that captures good sound! kinda like it better then real dash cam!

@rextinctione haha. I also look a little young for my age so it's interesting to see some people's reactions. Do you keep your panavise on your windscreen all the time or do you take it off at the end of every journey?

well me too! im 21 and I look 16 people tell me! I didnt use to but I do now since my hit n runs! I would leave on only if Im done with in 30 mins because it records by tape! when home I take off to charge when ever I can though I keep my cig plug thing on me at all times! I now keep it on all the time but when im home, siblings, or friends!

Actually as soon as my mom asked me if I was driving they started pulling weird faces at me LOL. They probably thought I was 15 or something. Then I pulled out my dash cam which made them look at me even more weirdly haha.

That's one of the problems with those all in 1 unit cameras. The sound usually has way too much gain and so basically loud talking distorts. My recorder is a different story. Yes, the gain is a bit too high because it has a audio input that's supposed to be line level but if I feed it line level it distorts. I had to drop the signal level but still a little too sensitive. Just recently I dropped the level further (yesterday) so will see how it goes. Wind noise it tough to deal with.

@roadmonitoroz Yeah I know what you mean! I've ordered a new camera (HD) so I'll see what that's like with my new mount.
