It's amazing that these band members actually had to get a high score to get into Stanford. I mean it is one of the toughest universities to get into to.
It's nice to know a little history of this band and how it's style came to be. That said, this band still sucks ass. While they think they're funny and entertaining, it really just comes off as a bunch of racket, and most of the supposed comedy comes off flat. I imagine their idea of an upcoming show is a lot funnier than the actual execution of the show. This is why they come off as offensive to many people. I'm all for irreverent comedy, but it still has to be actually funny.
in the 80's on a plane ride to illinois, the stanford band all went on one side of the plane and then ran to the other side, causing them to just about fall out of the sky. while marching on the illinois field they formed a giant middle finger and then ran off. they are truly the greatest marching band ever

1st band to feature rock music arrangements ... trendsetters, innovators, future leaders of America .... gotta be the most fun band to be in.
Tuba section dropped their pants to reveal "surf baggies" on national TV vs Arkansas 1969 in their Surf City show.
OJ trial was brilliant. Impromptu concerts at Supreme court, Lincoln Center and so on.
Relax people! Their college kids.
