Not everyone wants to look like a mexican driving down the street. Air rides have more of a purpose than just to scrape the pavement. handling is better, the body kit doesnt get scraped up, and since its a show car it can get better scores at the competitions.

what i meant was my black lexus is200 as it is now on coilovers, tucks almost an inch of rim at the rear and tucks rubber at the front on 20s 24/7& thats how lots of cars are here in Australia majority of people are against bagging and are low 24/7 but im bagging mine now its in a workshop atm so it can go lower and for practicality, but I know IS200/300s can drive tucking like 3inch's of rear rim easily as a mate of mine tucks 2 n half on springs and takes car loads daily

an IS and an Altima are two completely different platforms. Not really a fair comparison. An IS sits lower to the ground stock than an altima does. in order for an altima to tuck and drive comfortably 24/7 it will require more than coilovers due to how the car is designed. so air rides is the best deal. This car tucks very easily now and the exhaust is less than 1" off the ground at that point
