Paul is cool and a great teacher. He is comical, too. I get tickled while watching his videos and that aspect helps to hold people's interest, because he seems approachable, human, and unconceited. He reminds me of a Stoner or DeadHead that reads Science-Fiction books and plays guitar some, and is somewhat shy with the opposite sex. I have learned a copious amount of things from Paul's teachings (<----present perfect tense). Love you Paul, hugs and Kisses.
I am going to say, "Getting" is the correct choice; since HAVE is used for the present perfect, explaining something that either ocurrs at the moment, or starts sometime in the past and leads to the present moment. I am having my car washed would be fine if you were telling someone that at that moment you car was being washed. in a future tense or to come I would thing Getting would be more appropriate because it implies something is going to ocurr or be obtained. am I right?
Hey Paul, answer me now: In sentences that can use either "GOT" or "HAVE," or sentences in which people often use one of the two terms. which is correct what is the rule dicatating the use of when to use GOT or Have?
"I am having my house painted tomorrow," or, "I am getting my house painted tomorrow" whcih of these is correct?
You have still not explained if there's any exact differense in the meaning of a sentence with the combo "get + " when the verb to get is being following by an adject. or a PP!!
Though, there must be some difference, sinse an adjective modifies a noun whereas a Pasp parisiple modifies a verb (That is, to get, in this case, I suppose.) Please, explain it out in the next lesson. Thanks

i have question if i want say it in present simple like
I get done my home work
that right
MrHassan999999 7 months ago
@MrHassan999999 -- Say, "I get my homework done." To say it the other way sounds a little strange. Try to find videos or lessons on causative verbs.

the situation is getting worse. is that correct?
another question
i will get even with you.does it mean to be equal ?
MMAKSA2011 8 months ago
@MMAKSA2011 -- The first sentence you wrote is correct. In the second sentence, "getting even" with a person means to get revenge, not to be equal.
