  • for your manual transmission, does it have to be around the same year as the willys,or can it be newer?

  • @willys481 Funny, I too am having trans problems! And I couldn't see there being a problem, any borg warner T-90 should work. Can be found in studebakers, willys and some international scouts.

  • @willys481 ok thank you

  • Spring over axle FTW!

  • awesome vid,im lookin to get a 1948 willys overland wagon soon,do u prefer it better lifted or stock original, what would be better,im thinkin making it lifted

  • @willys481 Thanks man, I prefer lifted due to what I use it for. If you look through my other videos, you will see I had another one like this but stock height. These are easy to lift, all you do is fabricate your diffs and steering components and brake lines and put your diff under your leafs, rather than the stock way.

  • where did you get your springs?

or is it on a diffrent frame?

  • @xNebraskax69 It is the original chassis, original springs(Leafs) as well. The axels are under the leafs to lift it 6" beyond stock.
