i was studying liver from my robbins patho and all the slides were giving me a headache because frankly i suck at histology but this was very helpful thanks! i cant wait to check out your other vids! you rock!
in any liver problems, you can always be able to solve it by taking golden clam tablet,is an organic natural food suplements, you will be surprises.click my user name to find up
part 2 : In many of the slides, so many things just look like circles, how you what do you look for do start narrowing things down. Vessle, artery, lumen, tubule, or duct...?Also, all those tiny black spots are nuclei? It seems like they are many nuclei per cell, or are all the cell membranes invisible? In general, is the nucleus, in terms of size, a certain proportion of the size of the whole cell? Or is there so much variation that one can not generalize?
these are interesting videos. i am just beginning in histology and the teacher really doesn't walk through any slides with us. Do you have any super beginning level videos? I'm looking for something that explains how to tell the difference between an artery and a vein.
I love this series! I'm in the process of recapitulating what I've studied for my exam, and these short videos have been a tremendous help! It's so easy to get a quick overview of what is important and necessary to mention without having to read a huge textbook.
It's a very good way to get a general idea on how the liver is 'built' histology-wise... I like that you say "That we cut out of our liver..." lol My liver ain't getting cut in :P
around 6:45 the large vesicular structure that you are referring to as large portal vein, can't it be hepatic vein? several portal veins would drain into one central vein and that vein was way too bigger then any central vein. Also several central veins would drain into hepatic vein. Thus I concluded that may be the structure is hepatic vein. do kindly reply good professor :-) Thx

I'm not a medical student, but your liver histology is fascinating. Why don't you retitle it, "all you wanted to know about your liver, but were afraid to ask.?"
very interesting
