You can do 6 correct but it's best off to just use 3 so you have plenty other space for more important things.

this is no cheat its counter mime tactic, he start using limit then emerald hits him, and then he will do last attak in this case limit as many times as he has setups of counter mine.

When emerald attacks he will counterattack with your last move(in this case omnislash). That combination 8x did the trick

well done great it seem all the diff receipe show the use of mime n counter but why beating ruby with round of knight cuz ruby get you the gold chocobo that give you the opportunity to get r o k in the cave island acccessible only by golden chocobo so it s a bit useless to raise chocobo and then come back to beat ruby anyway that s good lesson to me just a question why do u start the fight with ruby with two dead caracter any particular reason?

You really dont understand the way you can use materia do you? He used hero drinks on cloud to make him stronger, then used Omnislash, now he has a whole bunch of counter+mime materia so, the next time he would of got hit he would of countered with the last move someone did (omnislash)

So please dont call someone a cheat because you dont understand anything or you'll look like a twat!

well Cid has a weapon called scimitar which triples your AP. i equipped KotR and materia that was nearly leveled up. i ran around in the bushes near mideel until my materia leveled up. have your other 2 guys use wepons that have double growth.

for the magic pots, you need 2 elixrs to give them before they can be attacked, other wise they dont die, steal an acessory and run away,so use the w-item trick on elixers, feed them 2 and kill em

u can use mime as max as 8 times/turn with 8 mastered counter materia paired each with 8mimes(no need master also can for mime)..

i defeated it using counter mime, KOTR hp absorb.. and i add some few magic and hp plus..

so, i just press kotr for the first turn and leave the game for a few 5minutes.. then done killed emerald.. haha.. same way i owned ruby..

and yes, the master materia's are a godsend against Ruby (and don't even be tempted to revive your characters or chances are, you'll lose control of Cloud some point during the fight)

i just beat ruby, with outh mast materias, i usedmlvl 2 kor, lvl3 hades, a mime, and a shitload of dazers, and revived my characters. the key is that ruby is vulnerable to stop status, dazers and hades do that, so start with revive, dazers, w-summon hades and kor, and your set.

I find a decent level MP Turbo can make KOTR inflict 9999 damage with each hit, yes, it is boring to sit through a dozen f**king KOTR's but it does work. i've never tried miming my own limit breaks yet, and i have never used the 'Speed Plus' materia, but now seeing how effective it is it might be time to start as i was really impressed with how fast your time bar moved!

Oh i get it, you see i used Knights of the Round (KOTR in future, saves space) coupled with MP Turbo, then everybody had Mime equipped, so for a while at least i could unleash hell with KOTR until the mime was interrupted. (usually by my final attack-phoenix combination...just in case, or if Emerald decides to use Air Tamstorm and KO my entire party)

the thing that still bothers me after all this time is how ppl post how fast they killed emerald/ruby weapon etc. I mean obviously you can kill him easily if you mime KotR or limits etc. But I still havent seen a single person on youtube defeat it without mime or KotR. I myself have beaten both emerald and ruby after hitting 99 w/ no mime, KotR, no lucky 7s, no cheats,nothing. just regular tactis, no easy win stuff. Now lets see someone post the battle the way it shud be.
