  • When I saw Asura's Wrath I thought you meant something from Skyrim but then I looked it up and I was like 0.o

  • Classical musical ethnicity:is music full of emotion and spirit trembles passion folk, explodes in the blood of the Earth and the man full of life, here are the wrinkles of the Earth, the mountains of the giants of Bohemia, Cechy, the Vltava, Elbe (Labe) River and Vltava and Ohre; but also I see the rivers of glory Asturies,Nalón, Nabia, and the astures Narankos and the Güerna,Korina-Xanes astures (Korrigan),to which Leopold Antonin Dvorak, one of my favorite along, composed an opera called "Rusalka

  • thumbs up if you found this not from anime :P

  • Super awesome

  • If anyone has the sheet for the first part please give it to me.

  • 1:00 - just when you think this piece can't get any more epic.....

  • Comment removed

  • Clarinet FTW!!

  • This is played on One Piece when Luffy is defeating Crocodile

  • @Adjaar7 one of the most epic parts of the anime might i add xD

  • @hiant0 Agreed! I loved that he can just summon all that strength for Vivi

  • The beginning is the most epic I ever heard!

  • SIEG KAISER REINHARDO

  • brutal

  • Rhapsody of Fire used this one for their song "The Wizard's Last Rhymes"

  • NOooo, They cut it at the best part... grrrr

  • @Attermusic no, they didn't... you can find it from 0:00 to 2:00

  • @rik94sivie You have a point about the beginning being great but the real joy comes at the end when it reaches the climax! :)

  • @Attermusic is there a climax O.O. none told me? where the hell is the rest of this piece????

  • @rik94sivie Use your imagination. o_o. Search the title of this video and replace part 1 with part 2, there you will find the climax. It is impeccable!

  • My FAV piece by Far!.....This is super great.

  • ha hab was geiles entdeckt haha

  • If one day I win presidential elections, the first part of this music will be my entry on stage music

  • @samal90 then you'll probably be more of a dark lord than a president haha

  • "This will Do, It's just you, and me. TIME TO RAISE SOME HELL. Now that I think of it, the last time we fought like this, you were still my pupil. You were wild, unfocused and had the eyes of a beast, Even then, I knew that you'd be the opponent that I've been waiting for!

    "I Hope you don't Dissapoint!"

Augus's pre battle speech, Asura's Wrath.

  • Marlboro..

  • Im sure that i listen to this in a game or a movie, but wich one, does anybody knowS?

  • Comment removed

  • @manuelchino96

The theme at 0:15 was used several times in Ren and Stimpy, that's probably where you heard it.

  • this gives me creeps. Husi kuze jak svina z toho jde.

  • we are playing this for band :D

  • @Tubstermania Cool story, bro. Tell it again

  • @Tubstermania without strings you cannot possibly play it to its full potential.

  • Sure that 4:13 base isn't Peter Sellers? :-D

  • The guys playing the horns must get laid all the time.

  • @KuriballFTW6

I guess +- 20 years in past minimal. He died in 1989 :/.

  • When was this recording done?

  • @rapter9800 I wanna say 198-something, cos the recording on here of Dvořák 8 was done in 1985, and it looks kinda similar to how the players look here, but I could be wrong

  • SHOW ME WHAT YOUR MADE OF, ASURA!

    Asura's Wrath brought me here!

  • @godzilla4189 THAT VIDEO IS SICK!

  • I bet half of the people watching this, came here because of one piece XD

  • @mchen94 Or perhaps just to listen to some amazing music?

  • Comment removed

  • Masterfull!

  • "I like my beats fast and my bass down low." - Antonin Dvorak.

  • You may not be able to dance to Dvorak but what other music make you think of an absolutely Bad Ass battle scene

  • as i first heard this, i thought it would be out of the lord of the rings soundtrack.

  • @nigges121

Howard Shore is a great composer, but the good composers of film music are standing firmly on the shoulders of giants from the 19th and early 20th century.

  • @toruscore By that logic, everyone is standing on the shoulders of baroque and classical period composers.

  • 0:15-0:43 has been haunting me since hearing it at Termini Station Rome, Aug 11. It played ever few mins in the station and really annoyed me to the extent that I started loving it as it will always remind me of the wonderful Roman holiday. Finally found out the name today. Roman Empire connection!

  • asura brought me here

  • @nequillim lol. auto tuning makes music better. Next ull be saying that wearing a meat dress is a good idea. im sorry but u must be deaf if u think shitty ga ga is better than this masterpiece. go crawl back to ur mentally deranged pop stars.

  • @nequillim LOL at the lack of common ethics, concideration, or the thought process to not have to comment. No one asked you to watch SEVERAL videos, and then make a useless statement. Do us a favor and go back to your auto-tuned pop stars.

  • @nequillim, nobody cares about lady gaga, shes a lip syncing pot smoking lesbian who is very concerned if shes an alien or a purple hippo because she is always high. Dvorak would fuckin' kill kill kill!

  • What year is this? (: I love it!

  • we play this in my schools marching show :D its so much fun to play!

  • REN AND STIMPY!!!!

No I'm not making this up. In the episode Stimpy's Invention, this music is played!

  • Thumb Up if you came here because of One Piece ;)

  • Yeeeah finally found the whose line ice skating song

  • GUM GUM..... STARRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It reminds me of Serbian and Soviet Armies smashing the nazis. This music was in the video while tanks rolled through

  • @OtadzbinaiKrv Dvorak was a staunch Finnish nationalist. Soviets wanted to incorporate Finland as a province. Think of Finn guerrillas smashing both Russians and Germans, rather.

  • @verticalmatt

    BULLSHIT

    Dvorak wasnt finnish

He was a czech composer..you idiot

  • @Asasellobulgakov I know, I pathologically confuse him with Sibelius. I'm just amazed no one corrected me before.

  • 3:07 my favorite part =O

  • i worked out for 2 hours straight with this song. it gave me some kind of supernatural power. Thank you Dvorak!

  • The best piece....EVER. I have heard it more times than I can count, (My sister's orchestra played it) but It is by far, my favorite classical piece.

  • Antonin Dvorak is czech u dumbass not friggen Austrian!!!

  • Forget the Roman Empire, the first 45 or so seconds belong to an intergalactic empire far more powerful than any one empire humanity has seen.

  • @Chymistry1 man, you are a genius...

  • This piece is so POWERFUL that it makes me shiver !

Dvorak seems a genius to me :-)

By the way I know 5 jerks that deserve to be thrown something in the face, anything you want but SOMETHING

  • @o0mastermind0o how about a million fists?

  • @Pyromania37

    Not hurtful enough...

  • @o0mastermind0o a million razor blades covered in acid?

  • @Pyromania37

Acid... Pretty good idea I'm taking notes...

Actually I was thinking of sawing them off little by little with justin bieber's CDs, but I guess it would be a blessing for them.

Dammit I was telling myself while listening to New World Symphony that the world might not be that full of assholes, and then I bumped into the 5 assholest...

  • @o0mastermind0o yeah this is amasing music.

  • The first part sounds exactly like the jaws theme

  • It's jaws Ö

  • Your theories of various empires are just pathetic, guys, this is just sheer power of music! Dvořák himself was a big railway fan and his various works are inspired by it, this one mostly by locomotives, which he considered genius work.

So, in our times, it should be an anthem of steampunks :D

  • Imagine French Empire, Napoleon !!!!

    EPIC

    Vive la France !

  • Yo vine aquí por un comercial de AXE. creo :S

  • Desert.. LA SPADAAAAAAAAAA !

  • @9Balrog6 Yeah this music made that fight specially epic.

  • Это просто фантастика!!!!! Обожаю Караяна!!!

  • GOMU GOMU NOOOO

    GATLİNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

  • GOMU GOMU NO

    STOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • one piece is making me listen classic :))

  • DAS BESTE STUCK ALLER ZEITEN. GENIAL

  • Epic CZECH masterpiece!!! You can't just "hear" it...you must listen!

  • One piece - Luffy vs Crocodile final battle brought me here...XD

  • 5 people think Bieber can do better...

  • The 21st music cannot be that

  • Czech rulezz babe :))

  • Amazing master piece, for those of you who watch One Piece this scene always reminds me of Luffy Vs Croc

  • @BrutalFlare Me too

  • Luffy vs Crocodile

  • @Shadxlox101 haha you saw it too

  • This is electronically so unbelievably overmanipulated that it is hard to believe. Stunning.

  • @AfroPoli

What do you mean by that? Everything is realistically orchestrated and not electronically.

  • @SolarBlade52 I am talking about the recording technique. It is super-compressed. That makes it sound 10 times more powerful and homogenous than it really is. Listen to the unnatural reverb and the unsteady background noise resulting from the extreme compression.

  • @AfroPoli

Oh ok. Thank you. This is definitely one of my favorite pieces of music. To listen to it in a grand way is amazing.

  • this piece will never have a more perfect match then the scene in One Piece, every single nuance, every note, every single part matches up PERFECTLY, and both were made without each other in mind, which is the craziest thing

  • Absolument incroyable!

  • This is the reason why I had a massive orgasm when I heard this song, as Rhapsody is my favourite band: /watch?v=6ZN1xw-HlI8

  • A los cinco asquerosos que no les gustó este video es que son reguetoneros. Indios putrefactos que no aceptan la tersa presentación de esta obra.

  • are the guys who have beards jewish?

  • epic!

  • I... I... I love it!!

  • Beautiful, it's a master piece

  • If they were to make another Lord of the Rings movie, they would have to use this piece at some point. Its just so damn epic.

  • @anita0091 Well, actually... Dvorak came first. Yes, John Williams borrowed the idea for Dvorak, but don't say that the intro is Jaws. Instead, Jaws is the intro.

  • The 5 people who dislike this video are probably saxophone players... purely jealous for being unable to play this.

  • es klingt wie in irgendeinem film mit krieg...

  • Ach gott bloß Männer .)

  • that dude move their arms like a puppet O_o

  • One of my favorites!

  • You cut the end! All of the buildup is pointless without a climax!

  • this is awsome

  • - I WILL SURPASS YOU!!!! Gomu Gomu no...

    - Desert...

    - STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORM!!!!!!!!!!

    - LA SPADAAA!!!!!!

    - RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

  • soundtrack when luffy beat crocodile..TOO EPIC!!

  • THIS IS NOT THE SONG FROM JAWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! john wolliams, the composer of the jaws theme, probably got his ideas from this piece, but this isn't the theme!

  • 0:00-0:05

    JAWS

  • 0:00-5:31 is epic

  • 0:16 - 0:43 somehow sounds like a theme for the roman empire to me

  • @Davidt963 Or Chavs running riot in London and being chased by Lancers!

  • @Davidt963 I though I was the only one!

It always come the word epic to my head...

  • Whoever sais that classical music is boring after this is lying(just to not say the right word)

  • @filipedribeiro sir ur absolutely right! :D

  • @Davidt963 Bullshit

  • @galuiot may i know the cause of your disagreement?

  • @Davidt963 Because it is a modern piece of music in composition, what kind of hollywoodthinking is a theme for an empire anyway.

  • @galuiot

It doesn't matter when was it made but rather how you hear it. And yes it does not resemble Roman empire to me but who cares?

  • one word to describe this video: EPIC!!!!

(and i normaly don't use that term)

  • Heard this from One Piece. Which is a japanes anime.

  • love this piece!

  • I love the french horn in this song <3

  • @xGuitarGirl739x Its not SONG ....

  • @TK2008BEST well then what is it?

  • @xGuitarGirl739x Its symphony, bobo...

Do u hear any1 sing? then why u call it song?

  • Well it's new years. Don't you think it would be awesome if they played this song in time sqaure? The oppening 15 seconds for the countdown and that first crescendo for when the clock runs out. That would be the best new years ever.

  • I WILL SURPASS YOU!!!!!!!! GOMU GOMU NO STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMMMMMM

  • YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA CROOOOOCOOOOOODIIIIIIIIIIILEEEEEEEE MDR

  • this...is my favourite piece, so epic.

  • This is REALLY GREAT MUSIC!!! Fantastic!!!

  • Ahhhh!!!! Pure energy, raw emotion, the look on the violinists faces as they are totally enveloped by the wonderful music they are making, I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF IT!!!!! I love Dvorak!!!

  • @supernole100

The violinists dont make this face because of the musik, the were afraid of the conductor. Herbert von Karajan was a genius but a very mad genius.

  • I cant read a conductor who conducts like that.

  • fourth movement is the best!

Thanks shuttlecock85 for sharing this with the world

  • listen to this in noise cancelling headphones and loud and the most epic shit heard

  • Karajan's arms are like dead fish man...

  • So much energy and power. If I lived in a world where this kind of music was a soundtrack to my life (like in movies), I'd feel as though I could do anything.

  • "Glee" used this for music during an epic, plague-carrying sneeze.

  • Powerful!

  • Marabillloso!!!!! :-)

  • Facebook url then

try the BPO's Karajan Academy - The Orchestra Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic on Facebook

I tried to paste in the link but YouTube won't let me.

  • Greetings from the Old World

  • Even though today's pop music is dominating the speakers of radios, yesterday's classical music will not die, but live and inspire.

  • UNBELIEVABLE !!! WHAT POWER!!

  • We played this for Nebraksa All State Orchestra last year. IT WAS AMAZING TO PLAY. I played bass bone, and it was some of the best music I've ever played

  • Great acoustics for the opening motif

  • I get chills listening to Dvorak

  • Wow, just wow ! You gotta love it !!!!!!!!!!

  • Sin duda mi favorita entre todas las favoritas, al igual que Karajan... el favorito entre los favoritos. La mejor versión que existe... Mejor dicho... Bocatto di Cardinali

  • Karajan is brillaint

  • 4 people got mad cuz theyre death and cant hear the beauty

  • HOLD IT! was Karajan smiling for once at 3:33????? can somebody check for me?

  • @Musicownz1997 wow... yes, that was sort of a smile, and he opened his eyes too
