  • its stupid how he grew his cloths

  • This would be the way I think the Hulk should have been done. The 2008 movie came close.

  • Great song for streaking. °_°

  • See this is the Real Incredible Hulk, not that Abomination obscured thing they have in comics today. This Hulk was Bad ass all around. and I believe could whip the snot out of the current incarnation mockery

  • @LordEli and wasn't it David Banner and not Bruce back then

  • Don't you see the arachno alien from metal slug 3 in this part? 0:50 It looks a lot like the enemy from the game.

  • What sucked about the cartoon was that he did'nt have someone who could give him a really good fight, there was no Abomination, Juggernaut or the Thing. Only a hunchback in one episode who at least put up a decent enough fight.

  • Nearly 30 years ago wow that was something.

  • So many memories of seeing this on TV in 1982.

  • only thing I didn't like was when he reverted back to David/Bruce Banner, his clothes came back too!! How does that work?!!

  • @dariusdynamite They go into Hulks a$%.

    :)

  • Best cartoon intro ever.

  • who get chills at 0:51

  • This cartoon was the 1st one to make Betty Ross into a scientist instead of just a pretty girl in the background.

  • I remember watching this every saturday morning when i lived with my grandmother. good memories.

  • @veeseee128

Does the Edward Norton Hulk remind you of this show? and does this Banner remind you of an animated Norton?

  • @Johnlindsey289 certainly NOT

  • @veeseee128

What about Eric Bana? what did you think of him as Banner?

  • The hulk should stop wearing eyeliner

  • When the F will this series be out on DVD?

  • This song made me overcome my primary school bully. I would force this song in me head and than i would be invincible. Also worked with my fear of jumping into cold water at gym class.

  • This show debuted in 1982 right after the live-action show ended.

  • wow.....

  • Hulk vs. Doomsday!

  • @OMNi2k5 The Hulk would mortalize Doomsday! LOL!

  • this Hulk terrified me as a kid. his grunts were intense lol

  • Great opening! I loved the show back in the day. I believe it was NBC?

  • Awesome intro 0:37 Special Agent Peter Strahm the great escape.

  • AWESOME intro 0:37 that should had been Special Agent Peter Strahm the great escape.

  • TAAAAAA TARATATAAAAA TARATAATATAAAA

just stays in your head huh? :P

  • This may have been my favorite cartoon of all back in the day!

  • cartoons so much better in the 80s

  • I cannot understand how a genius doctor turns into borderline retarded when he morphs into a The Hulk. I mean the guy can't even form a coherent sentence.

  • @chachee99 The Hulk's personality is a direct split personality between Bruce and Bruce when he was around 2-3 years old. This split personality formed as a result of mental scarring from his father. His father was incredibly abusive, violent, hated Bruce and he also killed his wife, Bruces mom. This is Savage Hulk, but there are others that stem from other personalities inside Bruces head, Savage is simply the most common.

  • @chachee99 This also ties into when he changes. As a child he felt helpless in front of his father and couldn't do anything when his mom or himself was beaten by his drunk/angry dad. So in any instance when that emotion comes back to him, any time his life is threatened or someone makes him angry, that personality emerges, quite literally. Only difference is the Hulk can actually fight back.

  • @TheGreatAges: Great description of the Hulk, dude.

  • this is just as cool as the bill bixby show/lou F. show.... but I have to SPIT on the C.G. versions.....and yes powerful music.....this cartoon got me rillied up as a kid!....they kicked ass with this... spiderman and his amazing friends... and of course the superfriends!!!

  • He seems so small here.

Must be that 500 lbs version

    The smallest one

  • Who here would have rather watched this on the big screen instead of that crappy first Hulk movie they gave us?

  • @rtds9fan I don't understand the hate for the first movie. I thought the CG was incredibly real, the issues with his father were true to the comic, and yeah it was cheesy that he could grow big, but realistically if a creature could become stronger then its muscle mass would have to increase, therefore its body would have to become larger. It makes sense from a scientifc point of view.

  • @TheGreatAges: What can one say? People (and most movie critics) are full of shit. I love both the first AND second movies, myself.

  • @Neville6000 , well for fans who grew up watching the TV series with Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno. That show was great and how they did it was very well done. If they had fallowed what worked for the TV show it would have been better. the back ground music for the "change into the Hulk" the story lines ect were perfect. Having 2 actors playing the parts would have been better not one actor for Banner and a computer Hulk that was stupid.

  • @Astraldragon1: Sorry, the the movies (despite having Lou Ferrigno in them) weren't for them or you, they were for people who had never seen the Incredible Hulk before, as well as being DIRECT ADAPTATIONS OF THE ORIGINAL COMIC BOOK. That's the audience for the movies; anybody else doesn't really matter. And those fans of the TV show should get off of their asses, go to a comic book store, and BUY THE ORIGINAL COMIC BOOKS AND READ THEM. Then they'd know what the Hulk really is.

  • @Neville6000 the hulk's the hulk get over it

  • @Neville6000

Would you say teh same for Nolan's Batman movies?

  • @Johnlindsey289: Nolan's Batman movies ARE Batman-a bit over realistic, but still Batman (the Joker, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Ras'Al Ghul, Catwoman, Bane.) Can the Hulk TV show say the same?

  • @Astraldragon1 painting a muscle man green doesn't cut it any more besides lou ferringos don't grow on trees he's one of a kind. The Hulk is Gigantic! they have to use a computer one 2008 hulk was great. the tech has come long way since the 2003 Hulk The technology is only going to get better. cut them some slack......sheeesh lol!

  • @LVSWTZ I actually prefered the 2003 Hulk to the newer one. I wasn't impressed with the cgi for it. I thought it was a step backwards in the series. I hope they get the cgi and design right for the Avengers movie. Just my opinion.

  • @Jonwood74 Well considering that the Hulk unlike other cgi characters is the Main Character of the Story and has to interact with real people in the real world. That's alot more difficult then any other cgi performance in the business, believe it. "I actually preferred the 2003 Hulk to the newer one." REALLY LOL!? WOW!.....okay?

  • @LVSWTZ What can I say, I prefer movies that actually have a story. The Incredible Hulk was one dimensional and boring in my opinion. But if you like plotless cgi fests then more power to you. I also don't think the cgi or character design was impressive at all. The cgi was weak regardless of whether he was interacting with real people or alone on the screen. Sorry but it just wasn't good. Atleast the first Hulk film, despite it's flaws, had some memorable sequences.

  • @Jonwood74 Crack Pot Father infects his infant child with Gama Radiation son becomes a 15 ft tall LIME GREEN Hulk who fights Gama Charged POODLES Dad becomes THE ABSORBING MAN? Throw in some weird and I mean WEIRD scene overlaps And you have makings of a Gama BOMB at the box office ending Angs directing career in the U.S "What can I say, I prefer movies that actually have a story."..okay

  • @LVSWTZ Why don't you take that same tone and describe the comic book origin of the Hulk...does it sound any less ridiculous? All comic book movies are handicapped with the same problem. The idea of a giant green monster man can't avoid being ludicrous. Atleast The Hulk developed it's characters and their relationships. I suppose the newer film is superior in your eyes because it didn't even bother to attempt plot development. If you liked the newer one, great for you....I thought it sucked.

  • @Jonwood74

    2003's is better right?

  • @Johnlindsey289 I think it is...I mean frankly, I don't even think it's close. Yes, 2003 has it's problems, but I found it to be head and shoulders above the Norton version. Just my opinion.

  • @Jonwood74

2008's was a set up to The Avengers and Hulk will return in that one

  • @Johnlindsey289 Yeah, I believe Mark Ruffalo will be playing Banner this time.... I'll just hope for the best lol.

  • @LVSWTZ: Preach it, brother.

  • @Neville6000 thanks lol!

  • @LVSWTZ no. I want a good hulk. Hollywood will provide one to me and other true hulk fans or else we will keep gripeing. Gimmee a hell yeah if you agree.

  • I loved this series of hulk cartoons from the 80's!

  • This is so cult. :b

  • how to control a hulk !!!

    1. deal with hulk about cookies . it should be choco-cookies .its better if u have the milk too.

    2. if hulk trust u then tell him a sad story about a puppy which smashed by a car .

    3. call him teddy bear . (hulk likes indiana names =D )

    4. have fun by the destruction of our world . ^^

    any questions ?

  • the Hulk is impersonated Manliness!

  • Love this music!

  • Used to see as a child! It was about 20 years and still give me the chills...! :)

  • That theme song just says Hulk. Man I used too love this show when I was a wee lad.

  • The Hulk overshadowed the cheesiness of Spiderman and His Amazing Friends, because it was more serious and the stories were slightly better. Spiderman always injected too much slapstick and silliness into their stories.

  • The Ultimate Hulk 4real! My favorite incarnation!

  • Epic theme, this is why I love the 80s!

  • gotta say the the shrinking spike room at 0:39 is so ridiculous but i love it.

  • SERIOUS CRAZY FLASHBACKS I',M FREAKIN OUT

This theme makes me feel INVINSIBLE!!!

    p.s. hulk smash

  • I REMEMBER THIS THEME FROM WHEN I WAS LIKE 8!

  • the theme music is just epic, this was back in the 80's but the tune is still awesome truly a classic theme

  • I remember this shows, it aired after Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends. Great opening, awesome theme tune!

  • This was one of most favorite shows when i was young. This theme is AWESOME! It should be used somehow in the Hulk's movies.

  • This theme is sad and powerful, incredible.

  • at first I thought the 90's cartoon had the best hulk theme, but now... I think this is the best one!

  • This opening is so epic.I remember every saturday morning in DC as a kid watching this show.I always wanted the thing from the fantastic four to come over to the hulk's cartoon and fight.

  • Powerful Musical Theme! I loved this show....

  • "The music tells the story by itself!"

  • Great Quality. Nice Upload, Classic Theme. I likey.

  • HULK HOGAN! WE COMING FOR YOU NIGGA!!!

  • @Bence316 OMG...love that video

  • la jerma de mi hermanoi richard garcia v

  • Thank you so much for posting this....I almost thought I imagined that theme tune from my childhood lol:)

  • yes... without question, this is the best of the Hulk theme songs thus far... i miss this cartoon.

    da relic

  • This was from 1981? Hola it looks great. Thank you for uploading this!!

  • this is the hulk i grew uo with on cheeze TV.....

  • Oh, childhood memories!

  • This intro rocks. Takes me way back to hours of Saturday morning cartoons. This one was a must see. HULK SMASH!

  • Damn, I'm a hardcore comics fan and I don't even remember this show! I guess I was about 12 years old then and had just started collecting comics. The Atari 2600 had just come out (I had one, too), but home console video games was new tech then(no internet either), I must have been outside playing like kids used to do in the 80's. No childhood obesity for me.

  • I haven't seen this in years until today, but I could still hum the theme song for you no problem. It's permantly stuck in my head fom when I was a kid. Anyone remember the episode when the Hulk got shrunk? HULK SMASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome - so many memories!

  • Of all the HULK cartoons this one and this one and the original really stand out.

  • as a kid i absolutely loved this music, kids these days grows up on nonsensical kiddie crap, but i'm so happy that my first few years was solidly fixed in such wonderful cartoons.

  • Yep, this is the one I grew up watching as a kid. Fond memories.

  • I love this intro it kicks butt

  • brings memories

  • dont make me angry mr.magee....you wouldnt like me when im angry.

  • I just purchased the Incredible hulk cartoon series from the 1980's & 1990's

version can't wait to see it.

  • Awesome, to today i still believe its the best animation cartoon of the hulk ever the series between 1980's & 1990''s.......peace

  • every time i listen to this i get amped up!!

sadly they dont make em like this anymore.

  • Dat is some crazy shit I think the same thing itz the perfect theme UNSTOPPABLE! sorry Jug. they recently used it on super jail listen real close the episode where the little assistant turns into the hulk.

  • This was the best looking hulk of them all. They should have kept this look throughout the comics.

  • You gotta love that orchestra theme music.

  • I sure love the orchestra theme music. Now I just wish they would release this on DVD.

  • hulk smash

  • Much better than the abortion of a 60s cartoon version

  • One of the best cartoons of the 80's, I loved it when I was a kid, boy it brings back memories, shame they don't make cartoons like they used to.

  • Even after all these years, I NEVER forgot this theme song! Funny how some things stay in your mind!

  • @crystalglobe1

Same here. An epic theme & cartoon indeed. This cartoon & the show in the 70's are the only versions of the Hulk I liked outside the comic books. I heard there was a 60's cartoon too but I never saw it.

  • trust me, dont watch the 60s show. its bad.

well not really. just skip past the themesong. LOL. You'll see.

The 90s Hulk show was pretty good.

Season 1 was great. 2 was mediocre.

  • Comment removed

  • the 60's Ever loving Hulk Hulk LOL

  • LOL.

    that show was ....bad.

  • @orinanime, The 60's hulk cartoon show was all right.......I agree the song sucked. concidering the other 60's superhero shows..like Batman and Robin, Superman,Superboy, Teen titan's Aquaman, Hawkman, Green Lantern, Flash and all the rest of the Filmation hero cartoons were good and the intros were better.

  • im confused.

are you saying the 60s Hulk was better than the Filmation/Hanna-Barbara stuff, or the other way around?

  • This is my favourite cartoon theme after the X-men theme

  • this theme song kicks so much ass, i just keep coming back to listen to it xD

  • @KingHarkinian "That is what I said too, so I put it as my ring tone!"

  • @morrocyclon

Thatw ould be awesome as a ring tone. I'd love to have that as my ring tone for work. LOL!

  • I dont know how, but this music is addictive.

  • I love this theme song!!!

  • best hulk toon ..ever!

how hulk should look and be. love the music score.

one episode stands out in my mind and laboratory room going back in time to when a cavelady has hots for hulky and her caveman bf is pretty jealous, pissed and as strong as hulk!! must find it on youtube

  • your right. It is the best hulk show ever produced

  • 80s HULK is on Ebay now.

  • Love the soundtrack

  • you are exactly right my friend!!!

  • For 1981, its animation was well ahead of time. Compare it to any of the "cartoons" out now......and you'll know what I mean.
