@chinocapili i slightly agree on that. but could you check out the details on philippine equipments? and compare them to the other countries such as US equipments? PH has crappy equipments + the hostage taker ( Who was a cop himselft and a HighRanking one ) had an armor penetrating weopon. So can you just imagine.. its like walking in naked in a gun fight where as US swat hav all the heavy gears so it boosts up the MORAL even more the PH swat had the courage but at the same time MORAL low.

Because, if this happen in most countries, they will not consider if it is a local or not. This is a job they signed up for, and saving lives of anyone.

The Manila PD screwed up big time, if you watched enough footages. They actually feared being shot at and left the bus after initial entry. There is no turning back when you started the assault of the bus..... they do not even have comms!

End up 9 hostages died.

@FACKMED yes and it weighs 400 pounds making it useless for a bus assault. Such a shielf could be used for methodical building clearing with a wheel assembly attached in a place with a flat surface. I built a wheel assembly for a large shield for use in school/business that have large flat floors and long hallways that need to be held for extended period of times. It really makes a difference on the fatigue factor.

Right. It stops up to NIJ Level IIIA. It won't stop Level III or IV.

Nope. Levels III and IV won't be slowed down, or stopped. We advise to absolutely not take the Batshield into a battle if you are up against Level III or IV.
