Even sometimes when you do feed them frozen they'll still constrict. My albino male will almost always try to constrict it if it's dry on the outside, previously frozen or not.
Probably just their personal thing. Ayami (in the video) won't constrict them if they are already dead. But my other female and my male will try to constrict it if it's dry and warm enough. If it's still damp from being in the freezer or just room temp they usually won't. They don't do it very long, after they realize it's already dead they let go.
Well we only have a baby Corn Snake and he doesn't constrict at all. We've tried live and frozen foods but he wont. We thought that it was because of his size but our California King Snake does, even though they are related. Is it a sign that we should increase the size from a pinkie to a fussy?
Not all corn snakes will constrict. If it's live prey that needs to be subdued they will, however pinkies are pretty harmless, even alive. Usually I will upgrade meal size when they can eat 2 or more of the current size in one meal. Corn snakes grow pretty fast, and if you feed them regularly they may be able to take a whole adult mouse within a year or two.
Do they not bite you if you keep feeding them live mice. Because we did that with our Piebald Ball Python and he kept thinking that we were rats/ mice when we were picking him out to show people. He also bit my hand and constricted, the only way i got him off was by spraying him in the face with water. We then decided to get rid of him and get a Burmese Python, we just don't want the same thing to happen it.
It depends. I have 3 corns, and only 1 (Sunny) bites. Try removing the snake from it's home when you feed it. Put it in a different container- it can even be a cardboard box, but big enough so they have room to eat. Do this for feedings from now on. You will soon see that they stop associating your hand in the home with food, and start to associate the separate container with food instead. I can't guarantee this, because some snakes are just plain mean and always bite.
Corn snakes usually won;t constrict on dead, only live but it is bad to feed your corn live because theres a chance fro your snake to get bitten or they might get use to the live and won;t feed on forzen or dead ones afterwards.

Do you eat meat? Seriously? Do you? Hamburger, chicken, pork chops? And if you don't, how do you propose I turn my snakes into vegetarians?
