Q: I downloaded the gamefile, typed open lnc3_*whatevermapnameitis* in the console, nothing happened.

A: Have you downloaded the said map file?

Q: Whenever I load custom content the game crashes.

Hey dont worry I fixed it I got a patch and it works and plus is there any way to get lance 2 maps on lance 3? btw lance 3 is awesome the bots are much better than the ones on gears 2 because they actually go into battle and do somethin unlike gears 2 they just stand there doing nothin lol

The older version of lance is put to dust, including it's maps, I'm re-working on better layouts right now.

Looks like you incorporated a spawn kill protection system? Or is that white shielding upon spawning just for effects?

I made it so when the player spawn he is on a god mode so he can not take any damage. the shield is just for effects, lets you know when it empty out.

yeah, sounds like the same spawn protection incorporated into other FPS games. It's a great addition.

hi mate i really need help i want to play Lance 2 but i dont get what to do i downloaded both the files you said i extracted them to the right place but i dont get what you mean by open the console what is the console was it a file included with lance 1 i neva downloaded that please help me

"`" is supposed to open the console (next to key 1). If it doesn't work, make sure your keyboard is set to English.

ye that worked problem is now i have extracted it to all the places you said but wen i try to open and play the map using the console it loads for a bit this a error window pops up saying that it has encountered a problem and needs to close any ideas

gametype looks kinda fun.. im a pro platform gamer... didnt even kno that custom gametypes existed for the pc.. looks good,, and get fuked up when ur wretched was down... they got raped
