in the maia/marquardt fight i think marquardt picked up on a tell maia showed and was able to time his counterpunch correctly to maias kicks. i love watching damian maia, but this was good for him because his last fights looked too easy for him.

couture's future? i think randy couture will remain in the top 10 and be a very big obstacle for up and coming fighters to prove themselves against. kind of like tito ortiz was to forrest griffin or machida.

I agree with most of what you said however Randy is still in every fight he fights. Nobody is running over him. He does not look nearly as bad as the late Chuck liddell. His time is coming soon but not quite there yet.

Randy was great @ 102. Nogueira and Randy had an all out war there, the slug fest in the first round was crazy. Randy survived all those finish attempts and it was nuts.

This was my favorite UFC of all time. Nog was great, even though I picked Randy I was rooting for Nog to get that D'arce. Nate & Silva won like I expected. Vera was as aggressive as I thought he would. Simpson impressed the heck out of me!
