Long Live the Shan (Thai Yai), Thai and Laos people. Happiness and prosperity. I really like the Shan (Thai Yai) people that I met in Mae Hong Son Province, Thailand.
SaoLaiChang, That's what I thought too. But this is a Shan script. It has its own consonants, and yes, it does share a few consonant with Burmese such as the S, and the M etc. If you can read Thai/Lao script then Shan script isn't that hard. Burmese script is harder. :)
nraugvwntiag27 don't say like that. do you know our shan nationality is not develop because of burmese military government you should understand on our shan people.
I love all the tai people and cultures. I am thai and I can feel we got similar cultures and appearance. Since we originated in south china, WE ARE BEAUTIFUL RACE until we mixed with ugly kmers and malays.
All tai (laotians, burmese) are very welcomed in thailand...but no kmers and malays please, you people are ugly SE asain race.
