Great color on the baby. And I can't believe the stupidity of people trolling. Snakes are natures pest control they eat rodents along with various other species. I've fed my Boa live mice to rats from his hatching. You start with pinkies and as they grow bigger you give them bigger food. The breeder i got him from has a 15ft Burmese Python he has to feed dead 10-15lb rabbits

@Livatube - They are housed in Vision Cages. Which are secured with locks. So, unless someone unlocks the cages and slides the glass open for them they are not escaping. I have thought about the risks involved and had before the first was even purchased. Not to mention spent time learning proper handling techniques as well.

I used to work at a place called deadly snakes and a immature teenager thought it would be funny to hit the glass of the gaboon viper cage and struck the glass and the glass started to crack and I had to check to if it was okay but we had to give it treatment because glass got in its mouth but we got it out.

@samueltromp I have not had any issues with getting them to eat. There is always the risk it will not eat but, Gaboons are typically pretty easy to get feeding. The main problem I have is getting them to drink. I usually have to spray them or use a hook and put their head in a water bowl
