  • If this book was written by Bill Goldman, why do they say in the movie that it was written by S.Morgenstern?

    It was a literary pretence. Almost a kind of "found footage" in-joke approach: Goldman pretended to have abridged the "classic by S. Morgenstern". (There never was an S. Morgenstern or an unabridged version.)
