A woman's voice is not awra, that means she cannot speak or it would be as if she went naked in public, that is absurd. Women should not beautify their voices in front of men like we do when speaking to our husbands in private. Lightening her voice and softening it is what she shouldn't do infront of non-maharam men.

@AlHannah20 i think here the tafsir of the ayat in surah ahzab mentions in front of any crowd a person i know used a simpler proof saying that if this was allowed women could lead the salaah but i beleive this is not a young woman she looks 10 so with that in mind i beleive it is permissable imho

If you would please stop making such an old fashioned and absurd division between men and women Islam would be a much more beautiful religion. No God could ever forbid a person like this to be performing this recitation. It is a right for everybody man or woman to pray or not to pray. We should respect everybody and in return people should be respected for valueing life themselves.

Are you implying that Islam and the prophet's Sunnah are old-fashioned? No woman should be in front of a group of men reading Quran, regardless of what century it happens to be. She may certainly read Quran if she is only around women, but a Muslim woman's voice itself is "Awrah. That means it should be just as concealed as the rest of her body. Islam teaches us that. Allah is All-Knowing, Wise. Please do some research on the subject and Insha Allah, you will understand better.
