.,,,uhmMm.,,,,mind if i ask how to plant an eggplant seed.,,,coz i dont know how will i do it properly.,,,i tried planting several times but the seeds seemed to be no changes at all.,,,pls help me.l,,,,,,thanx.,,,,,,
@wiseguy1202 try wetting a paper towel with water then squeeze some of the water out put the seeds inside the papertowel or napkin or anything like that it could even be cotton or fabric but then put it in a closed plastic bag put it near a window and wait a few days and check keep checking every day and make sure it is damp and then once they sprout carefully put them in the ground and cover them with dirt this will also work for any seed
I tried this. You can't grow peppers from the seeds of veggies you get at the store, (they've been engineered NOT to grow) only from "organic" veggies. Your best bet is buy some seeds. If you want heirloom organics, I bought mine at Peaceful Valley Seeds on the Net. Once you have heirloom peppers come in, you can then use the seeds from your home grown veggies.Same with most veggies. BTW, I planted 15 bean soup purchased at regular store, and they grew like crazy! ;)
@laxguy484 I cut out all the seeds of my capsicums/bell peppers and dried them out (out of direct sunlight) then I put them in a bit of toilet paper, wet the paper then placed them in a pot and covered with soil/potting mix. Had them there for about a month and they didn't do anything, then I bought a little growhouse, and within having them in there for 2 weeks they just started growing 2 days ago. I now have 5 little bell pepper seedlings so YES it does work taking the seeds from a capsicum.
Really cool garden

I bought my seeds at the store but that method should also work. You *may have to dry them first...I don't really know

Very nice! ^__^
When your bell peppers grow,
do you have to support the plant,
mine is like a little over a foot tall
but I don't have a stilt on it, should I
put one? I'm new to gardening, o_O hehe.

I don't know if you HAVE to put stakes for support. I just didn't want to take chances. This is my first garden so I'm kinda just guessing.
