i was just wondering, im buying one tomorow (second hand cause i accidently ruined my old phone) if the screensaver with the time on it comes in different colors. like can you change the background?

Yes you can change the Background color. However, there aren't many choices (I disliked that about it)

There are only three or four (Green, Blue, Black and Guava (redish).

PointUI gave me a very pretty interface to play with, and fullscreen keyboard made it ideal for a text-a-holic like myself.

so far, it seems WAY more versatile than my symbian phone... I adore WiMo so far and I love all the things I can do with it.

Only thing that really screws me up is that I cannot, under any circumstance, get a decent signal unless I'm outside of home... from what I'm hearing, seems this is a problem with many HTC phones?

i have a decent signal inside and out. maybe its your cellphone company coverage

nah, everyone else in the house is on the same network and they get great strength here... turned out my problem was that it was a dual-band phone.

Either way, it's out of this house and out of my life... I've already sold it off for a NTC T2222 that has a 3x more powerful processor, a much better touch screen and is quad-band... most amazing because it was priced $30 less than the HTC I got...

I absolutely hate this phone. It freezes constantly whether my phone is idle and has been for a little while, or I'm in the middle of a phone call. Everyone I know who has this phone has the same problems. I should have bought a blackberry.

Agreed, the phone is garbage. Loved it, but I've returned it for 4 different units. I know 7 people in my office who have it. Different carries. Some Sim cards, some not. ALL of them freeze in calls around the 10-20 min mark. only 3 of them inclding mine had extra apps. I guess i'm a jack ass to eh andrel2000

Your not lying after a few months the phone become some shit. Its cool at first then becomes your worst enemies. Keeps freezing for calls doesn't wake u up, and doesn't even pick up calls.

i think i'm going to buy a htc touch, but does someone know if the 5-way navigation button does also support diagonal presse (between up and left, for example)?

Yes with the 5-way navigation button you can go in 5 ways: up, down, left, right & you can click on something.

This phone is fantastic!! I just love it!!! You'll never forget your first touch ^^

Google HTC streaming media and download the free program. My YOUTUBE works fine!

it doesn't do that when you overclock it (use batterystatus and go to 273mhz or something like that)

nice video but i would suggest: if you try to make a video-review then you should focus more on details practical things than the calender and other basic things instead of just only flipping through the menu by touching the screen. But in my opinion I would prefer much more focus on other important things like make a calender entry or surfing around in the web or typing an sms.But nevertheless: Thanks anyway

nice phone, iPhone not yet available in India. HTC is a decent stand by. exciting about skype and so many other apps available for it.

well at least for me it's better than iphone, you can have cool things on wm too (just look at spb mobile shell, pointUI, s2p, eyephoto) has really cool effect and iphone-like stuff too AND you have an advanced OS unlike iphone (no 3rd party software, not customizable, no sync with outlook nor messenger contacts, ...)
