It works for windows as long as you have a usb bluetooth or built in bluetooth. I run this keyboard purely on windows

I just changed my batteries for the first time in my wireless keyboard and it will not stay on. I did check the batteries first to make sure they were good. The light comes on momentarily, but then goes off. Any idea's?

I'm surprised that Apple didn't add a USB port somewhere on the keyboard. From what I've seen from Apple 's products, they usually focus on reliability and capability. This is focused mainly on reliability. I hope that Apple fixes this problem in the future. Thumbs up if you agree!

I switched to rechargables..... the batteries in the mouse last about 3 weeks, fine. the keyboard so far has lasted 2 months and counting... haven't change then since getting in Nov. 2009
